If you are looking for sun and fun in the Caribbean, look no further. I have compiled all of my recaps from our 10 day Southern Caribbean Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas in one place. It was the most luxurious vacation.
Use these posts to learn more about the ship and its amenities, our itinerary, the excursions we booked, the islands themselves, and our personal experiences.
The 10 Day Ultimate Southern Caribbean Cruise
Explore Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas and see what sea days were like for us onboard! We loved calling this boat home for ten days, and the room, food, staff, activities, and fellow guests that came along with it!
Our first port was at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. We took a ferry from there over to Peter Island, one of the most exclusive resorts in the world, and spent the day getting pampered at the spa and lounging on the beach.
At our second port of the cruise, we rode horses up in the mountains of St. Kitts and learned the important history of sugar cane in the Caribbean.
Our third port stop took us to Dominica, where we went river tubing in the jungle!
On a whirlwind of a port stop in Antigua, we kayaked, hiked, snorkeled, and ate fresh baked banana bread at a local’s house.
The French and Dutch share St. Martin/St. Maarten, along with a love of good food. For our last port stop, we spent the day We ate our way around St. Martin.
Questions of the Day: Have you been to the Southern Caribbean before? What are your thoughts on cruising? Would you want to take this cruise?
