Hey guys! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been awesome so far, I rocked it out at a Zumba class and have been getting to catch up on sleep. That is an incredible week by my standards. To continue getting a good nights sleep this post is going to be short and sweet. I had the best time in NYC as part of Kotex’s Generation Know campaign to raise body awareness and encourage open discussion amongst women. I mentioned how professional photos and videos were taken at the event. I won’t be getting the videos for a little while, but I thought it would be fun to share the photos snapped that day. Before the shoot I had no idea all that went into a photo and video shoot. It was such an incredible experience that I feel so lucky to have been able to be a part of. I hope you enjoy the pictures! 🙂
Question of the Day: What photo /video shoots have you been a part of? Aside from getting engagement shots done this was my first big photo/video event!
You look great!!!
What was in the cucumber?! IT LOOKS SO DELICIOUS!
Aw thank you! It was a salad! It was soo tasty! I wish I had the recipe so I could try and recreate it!
What great photos and it looks like such a fun day!! You look fantastic too. Aside from wedding photos, I participated in a leg makeover project with FITNESS magazine and had to take before and after photos. It was fun – a little nerve wracking but fun!
That must have been such an amazing experience! I hope you had a blast!

When I was a kid, I modeled for a dancewear magazine – yep me little claim to fame for all those Danskin readers. 🙂 This looks like a great experience!
How cool!! I loved Danskin, wore it all the time for Irish Dance!
Great photos! I haven’t been part of a video or photo shoot ever, what a cool experience.
It was such an amazing experience!!
Beautiful photos and it looks like so much fun! I am a freelance photographer but I haven’t done huge projects like that before so it’s cool for me to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff too!
It was such a fun experience! How awesome you’re a freelance photographer! I always wished I could do that!
These are great photos and based on what you said in the posts about the event, it sounds like it was the first of what is to be more amazing experiences!
I’ve never done a shoot like that before, but I’d love the opportunity at some point.
It was an incredible opportunity that I am so thankful for!!

Thanks Lisa! I was able to participate in this event through Glam, my ad network. 🙂
