Friday Five

Happy Friday everyone! I hope your week treated you well and that you have a fun weekend to look forward to! Omaha is in the middle of a heat wave, so my main goal this weekend is to stay cool. Here are five things I’m loving this week:

1. Have you heard Miranda Lambert’s new song? I’m obsessed. She has such a beautiful voice.

2. Jordan had her baby shower last weekend! I was not feeling my best (I found out all my tiredness lately is because I have mono…womp womp) but I was so excited to get to see these girls, even if just for a little bit. Jordan looked absolutely gorgeous with her bump and I cannot wait to meet Baby S!

3. I recently received a Degustabox in the mail and liked it so much I had to share. You pay $19 including shipping and get a box full of either new-to-the-market or hard to find snack products like those imported from other countries. There was a pack of TopoChico in my box and now I am on a mission to find a place near me that sells them. They are so good! There’s no commitments when buying a box which I love because it makes a fun gift or just-because surprise.

4. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts TODAY for the general public! Did you guys check out my post recapping the sale and sharing my favorite deals? Well after I wrote that I went back and forth about opening a Nordstrom card so I could guarantee I would get a pair of the most perfect leather boots (for us wide-calf gals) as they were going in and out of stock. After a lot of hemming and hawing I decided to open the dang card and went to town on a little Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping spree. (See collage above for everything I bought in the color I bought it in!) The Barbour coat I wanted was out of stock, as were these super cute Kendra Scott earrings, but otherwise I got everything I wanted. And now I plan on not shopping for a very long time. 😉

5. I am so in love with corgis it’s ridiculous. I can’t wait to get one when Josh and I have a house with a yard for it to have space to run and play and do its puppy business. Until then I’ll just stalk all the cute corgi Instagram accounts, like PoccaTheCorgi. (Does anyone have a cat and a corgi? Do they get along? I am seriously worried the day we get a dog is the day we ruin Punkin’s life.)
