Omaha has been hot lately. Muggy, sticky, sweaty, HOT.
When the temperature shoots past 100 you have to find ways to cool off.
And one of my favorite ways to cool off is with a scoop of ice cream.
In the summer I’m all about a casual tee, a pair of cutoffs, and boat shoes. It’s comfy, cute, and can be dressed up with the addition of a beautiful necklace. It’s also an outfit you can wear in the heat and not feel like you are slowly melting to death.
That’s one of the reasons I love these boat shoes. They’re breathable! And they’re on sale for $35! I love me some Sperrys.

In the summer, the only thing that should melt is your ice cream. And hopefully it’s melting more in your mouth than on your hands! 😉

My favorite ice cream is a mixture of chocolate and cappuccino blended together with chocolate chunks and chopped almonds on top. It’s amazing! I usually got mine @ Coldstone when I lived in the U.S. I miss is a lot!

I’ve been living in my Sperry shoes this summer. Not only are they awesome (hello flamingos) they are super comfortable and give my feet the support they need throughout the day – no matter how hard I try, I will never be a heels kinda girl. Love all those necklaces… I honestly don’t think I could pick a favorite! I’m all about layering with white t’s in the summer!
