Gosh I love living in Omaha. It’s so fun to see a town get so excited about holidays and events. Last night Josh and I explored Midtown Crossing’s Miracle on Farnam.
We’ve been driving by the beautiful light display for weeks and decided it was finally time to go explore it. The weather was perfect, it was chilly but not too cold. And by going on a Thursday night we avoided crowds.
As we were walking around holiday music began to fill the air and it felt like we were in a fairytale. We ended up running into the creators of all the beautiful music. These carolers were amazing.
There were window displays from all the local museums and attractions. The window with the most votes wins a donation from the city. I of course had to vote for this penguin display from the zoo. Isn’t it adorable? It’s twice the size of this picture and features penguins doing all sorts of silly things.
This one took my breath away.
Ahhh I’m riding a spaceship! This was a super cool display put on by the Space Museum.
Josh was a reindeer in another window display! It was such a fun night exploring Midtown Crossing and taking in all the magic of the Christmas season.
