1. I haven’t been too productive these past few days. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I spent most of my days and nights reading. Ever since Josh and I saw the movie and started reading together this weekend I have not been able to put down the books. Last night I finished The Hunger Games series and all I can say is wow. Its been a long time since I read a series that captivating, that engrossing, that riveting. I was literally glued to my seat and felt like I was right there watching the story unfold with my own eyes. There was adventure, mystery, action, and my favorite, love. I am a sucker for love stories and love how this one kept you guessing until the very end. I don’t know how I escaped the hype of these books for so long but I am so glad I finally got around to reading them. If you’ve been on the fence about reading these, go read them. Seriously, they’re amazing.
2. I got my Maui Jim’s in the mail today. What do you guys think? They sort of remind me of my Ray Bans but with a little bit of a smaller frame. I’m hoping I’ll be able to rock these, I love how the lenses are crystal clear.
3. To perk myself up after two all-nighter reading sessions I stopped by Starbucks after picking up my car from the shop today. I have a new tire bearing on my back right wheel and while my ride is a lot smoother I am still hearing the flapping noise from my front left tire as it rotates. I’m at a complete loss to what it can be since the bearing was checked and its supposed to be fine. My dad thinks it might be the hubcap on my wheel or from googling around it might be something touching my tire like a brakepad or something. I have (another) appointment to get it looked at tomorrow. Fingers crossed my tire saga is finally over after that!
And now I’m off to work for the night! I hope you all have a great night!
Question of the Day: What book series have you read that have completely gripped you from start to finish? I’ve had a few, some of the ones that come to mind besides The Hunger Games are Harry Potter, Twilight, Pretties, and the Pellinor Series.
