This time of year gets me so excited. Back to school season brings me lots of nostalgia, happiness, and just a sense of new beginnings. I thought it would be fun to share some thoughts on college post graduation. There were a lot of changes from the first day:
(This feels like forever ago!)
To the last day:
(How the heck was this two summers ago? Time flies guys!)
When I think about how much crap I brought with me to college. Oh my goodness! You buy all.the.decorative.things but run out of detergent in like a month. haha
Everyone tells you college is going to be the best four years of your life. Literally your entire life to that point is all about hyping up college. I mean, I really enjoyed college, but it was not the best four years of my life. I’ve never been happier than I am right now. That said, I hope I never feel like the best four years of my life are behind me.
I’ve always been a planner, so I thought I had my life figured out in college. I would literally never have guessed when I started my freshman year that at 24 I would be married, living in Nebraska, and blogging. It wouldn’t even seem fathomable! haha Life has a way of working out way better than you can imagine.
Even at 24, you may find yourself at Walmart stocking up on back to school supplies for your 30-year-old husband who’s a college professor. 😉 Whether or not I decide to go back to school in the future for my Masters I’ll always have my husband going back to school. I put together a little back to school care package for him with some home staples and office essentials that I’ll be sharing on my blog next week!
One of those staples for back to school season is razors. Seriously, no one wants to be hairy at college. When Schick® Disposable Razors reached out to me about sharing my thoughts on college it was a perfect fit because Josh has been using these razors for years and is in the middle of back to school season right now.
I picked up a Schick Hydro® 5 Razor for Josh. He’s a little more lax on shaving during the summertime but likes to be more put together during the school year. Just because he’s the oldest one in his classroom doesn’t mean he needs to be the hairiest! 😉
Questions of the Day: What are your back to school must haves? For those of you out of school do you ever think about going back for another degree? Do you prefer the clean shaven look on guys, a little bit of stubble, or a full on beard?
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Schick®. The opinions and text are all mine.
