Happy New Years Eve! I hope 2015 has been good to you and that you have a lot to look forward to in 2016. Josh and I are enjoying a little staycation here in Omaha that includes dressing up and dancing the night away. I can’t wait!
In the spirit of all the reflecting, planning, and resolution-making that happens this time of year, I wanted share this list. It has been circulated all over Pinterest and the blog world to the point no one even knows who originally made it, but it’s too good not to share. It’s all my hopes and goals for 2016 neatly summarized in a pretty list.
Here’s to a new year of trying. Let’s make it the best it can possibly be!
Questions of the Day: Do you make New Years resolutions? If you do, what are they?
I love, love, love this! I’ve really been trying to prioritize lately and let the other stuff go and plan to continue this into the new year.
Love this 🙂 Simple living and getting organized is what my big 2016 plan is! Thanks for sharing this nice list 😉 xo C
Happy NEW YEAR!
Dressing up and dancing the night away is a great way to ring in 2016! Hope you have an awesome night! Great list. These are always on my to-do list. Perhaps 2016 will be the fresh start I need to actually accomplish my goals. Cheers!
What a great idea! I love that the list is all inclusive!
I can’t believe it’s 2016 tomorrow! I’ve got to work on my resolutions too. Thanks for sharing yours!
No resolutions just a word for the year. The word for 2016 is STRONG.
Nice list indeed! I would love to do all of that. I have to try harder this time!
I still need to post my 2016 goal list! I’m a huge fan of lists 🙂
My overall hope is to be more organized in 2016. And drink more water. I’m ALWAYS struggling with that.
Terrific list Erin! Happy New Year! Cheers to more adventures to come.
This is awesome 🙂
That is awesome! I can handle all of those things, especially the last! ha
Nice list!! 🙂
Love it!!!!
Hadn’t seen this yet, it is awesome indeed. Happy new year!
I make goals for the New Year, not resolutions, similar to the goals I make in different times of the year. I love this list though – very simple! Have a great NYE!
Love this! Keeping my body healthy is definitely my number one focus for this next year.
I love this list. Especially have more patience and Do less! Amen to that! Happy New Year to you!!
Love this list! Happy New Year!
Just try your best. 🙂 Love it! I have lots of goals this year, but my goal is to use my goals to fire me up and not drag me down. if I don’t accomplish them all? Oh well! I’m choosing progress over perfection this year!
I love this list! It rings true to many of the New Year’s resolutions so many of us make each year. My personal favorite though is “Forget Doing More.” That pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole New Year’s resolution thing. All of us want to be healthier and happier and there are SO MANY things we could do to achieve the results we want. But the stress of trying to do it all is a quick way to smash any motivation we have. Just wake up and do the best you can every day with the time you have. That’s the real key to success! BOOM. (drops the mic) Happy New Year!
Those are the sort of resolutions I can get on board with.
What a great list for the new year!
Mine is very similar.
xoxo, Jenny
This is a great list! Nothing like doing the best things more! Happy New Year!
Also, side note, we have the SAME LAST NAME! ? I’ve only met one other person who I didn’t who’s last name is the same as mine.
This list has been my list for years lol but good to know that I have a new year to start it again! Thanks for sharing and HNY!!!
Ahh I love this list and it’s so pretty too 🙂 A few years ago I got back into reading as a New Year’s Resolution and it has made my life so much better for it. Totally recommend doing that as a way to relax and be inspired over going on Twitter or Facebook 😉
#3 and 8 are at the top for me!
Ha Ha Love how #10 Pulls it all together in the end! I feel like #1 is in the hands of my child, lol. put this is a perfect list to start from! Happy new years! 😀
I love the explore more. Can’t wait to make 2016 more of an adventure.

#4 and 7 is my targeted list of 2016. I need to out of my home to see the next world.
Wonderful list. A lot of this is part of my 2016 plan. I do plan to do more but not busy work, passion work. Hope you have a great New Year! Love your blog Erin
I love love this! I am going to print it and add it to my planner. I don’t necessarily do resolutions but I do have some goals for 2016 that focus around all those wonderful things on that list!
This is great! Thank you so much!
Such a great list! Rather than focusing on something new, let’s all just try to be the best versions of ourselves. Hope you had a wonderful staycation!
This list is perfect and just what I need!
