If you’re like me, you’re never opposed to a little glitter. Sometimes life just needs a little extra sparkle. Especially when it comes to shoes!

Jack Rogers does sparkle sandals right. They’re eye-catching but not over-the-top, and the sparkles are muted a little by the matching leather accents.  These sparkle dress sandals are gorgeous but at $120, are definitely a splurge.

I was first introduced to Jacks at Bucknell. As a freshman, my floor went to the bookstore together during orientation and there was a pop-up shop happening right outside with Jacks in every color. I fell in love with the style and simplicity of them and through shopping sales have added an assortment of colors to my closet over time.

While I’m looking to add some pretty gold sandals to my closet, I am not looking to drop a serious chunk of change at the moment. In situations like this I go to Google and try to find styles similar to the expensive pairs I’m loving, but at a more affordable price point. I can find some really good deals this way. This search led me to these Sperry Topsider sandals.

The Sperry Topsider Carlin sandals are super cute and have the same pairing of leather and sparkles that I love. I’m also really liking the metal accent. And the best part is they’re on sale for $27! That’s definitely in my budget, and is $93 less than the pair I was originally looking at.

Yay for affordable sparkles!

    Ugh. I’ve always wanted to love my Jack Rogers but honestly, they might be the most uncomfortable pair of sandals I own! Maybe I’ve never broken them in all the way, but every time I wear them I feel like the toe strap digs into the top of my foot – no thank you! I feel like Sperry always has the greatest shoes for reasonable prices. And they last forever, and they’re uber comfortable! Good luck – love the sparkle : )

      I hate how some shoes are so comfy to some people and so painful to others. I wish feet were more universal so when a friend recommends a pair you know that they’ll actually feel nice on you!

    I agree with everyone, I think the Sperry’s are prettier! I’ve always been a little hesitant to add glitter into my wardrobe, but this is definitely a very easy and fun way to do so!
