No, Josh and I are not on a honeymoon right now. As much as I would love that we’re moving to Omaha in two weeks. We’ve got a lot going on. That’s why we’ve decided to delay our honeymoon until this winter. I realized that I never shared our honeymoon plans with you guys so I figured why not do that today?
For a long time Josh and I weren’t sure we would be taking a honeymoon. We’re really trying to be smart with money. We couldn’t justify spending thousands of dollars on a trip when we have so many other things to save up for, but at the same time a honeymoon is something that is very important to me. When I got an email through Westin Rewards program about a package at The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort in Cancun, Mexico I knew it was an offer we couldn’t pass up.
Josh and I will be staying here for five days, four nights in a one-bedroom ocean facing villa. We are so excited for some rest and relaxation in Mexico! We’ve heard amazing things about this hotel.

I can’t wait to go snorkeling.
And just lay out by the ocean with my new husband.
It should be a wonderful honeymoon! I’ll make sure to post recaps of it once we take it.

HOW FUN!!! We went to Southern California & Disneyland for our Honeymoon & loved it! Our 10-year is coming up and we are trying to figure out a 2nd Honeymoon for that! 🙂

GORGEOUS!!! I’m so jealous! Someday when Joe and I get married I think we’ll probably wait a bit to go on a honeymoon too, it is just too much to pay for a wedding and honeymoon all at once. So smart!

On our honeymoon my husband and I went to Paris. It’s our favorite city in the whole world. We also went to Nice and Florence. It was wonderful.
Oh wow, a honeymoon in Paris. That must have been so romantic! I’m so excited for our honeymoon. And Josh said he’ll wear the Mr and Mrs t-shirts on the plane. haha
