The 21 best books to read in 2018

February 6, 2018 32 Comments

Check out the 21 hottest books to read in 2018! By the end of the year these picks are going to be book club staples.

I’m making reading a priority this year. Getting lost in a good book helps relax me, inspires my creativity, and feeds my brain way more than any of my favorite reality TV shows do. Plus, I sleep so much better when I fall asleep reading a book than when I spend my evening scrolling through Instagram.

There are ton of great books out there right now, in all genres. I wanted to share my picks for the 21 best books to read in 2018. From young adult toย mystery, to self-help, sci-fi, entrepreneurship, nonfiction and more, there is something for everyone!

I’m challenging myself to explore new genres this year and read books outside of my comfort zone. I always gravitate towards the fluffy, light-hearted books, but it’s the uncomfortable, painful reads that leave me thinking long after I’ve read the last page.

Happy reading!

The Alice network was faboulous, and I can not wait to get my hands on the immortalists. I adore historical fiction, and Iโ€™m slowly getting into historical mystery or any mystery series with a strong female lead.

This is quite an array! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you read “The Hate You Give” yet?! It is on my list, but I’m currently reading “Between the World and Me” and “Prophetic Lament”. Got a book stack knee-high next to my bed. A good problem, I suppose. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Definitely some good books on your list. I own The Hate U Give but I need to read that this year. I don’t really have a favorite genre…I read almost anything. I DO love a good mystery novel though. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Erin, love your list! Noted!

About audiobook “The Light We Lost”:

This is a beautiful and painful look at the timeless struggles between fate, timing, and choices. The main character, Lucy, narrates the joys and sorrows of her relationship with Gabe. Many a listener will undoubtedly empathize with the twist and turns that life brings as one agonizes over decisions that impact career, family, friendships, and love. This is a story that will challenge the listener to be more self-aware and to communicate a little more honest with those they love.
