This “tastes like homemade” turkey pot pie is for everyone who wants the taste and quality of fresh food with the convenience and quickness of frozen food.
I have loved pot pies for a very long time. They’re the perfect blend of soft, flaky carbs and a juicy filling. They remind me of childhood, of dinners with my dad, and of my enjoyment of food from a very young age.
What I don’t love is the time it takes to make these bad boys, and the calorie count that usually goes along with my carb-loving creation.
Enter Blake’s All Natural Foods. Their made-from-scratch, small batch, organic (or all natural) frozen meals have been a staple in our freezer for over a year now. They’re able to make comfort foods with simple ingredients that taste homemade and aren’t calorie bombs. And, they have a wide variety of meals with meat and vegetarian options for both Josh and myself.
From freezer to oven to table in 40 minutes.
Can we take a second to admire that flaky crust? This is on a pot pie that came out of the freezer, people!
Some of my favorite Blake’s meals are the chicken pot pie, mac and cheese with chicken, and chicken and dumplings. Josh is obsessed with the three-cheese ravioli and mac and cheese with veggies.
I was so excited when Blake’s reached out to me to let me know that their new turkey pot pie was hitting store shelves this month. Blake’s meals are available at Whole Foods, Target, Walmart, Wegmans, Natural Grocer, and a host of other supermarkets. Their new turkey pot pie is currently exclusive to Meijers and Publix stores.
I couldn’t wait to try it for myself and found it to be every bit as delicious as the rest of the Blake’s line. Check out those chunks of turkey and veggies.
Proof that frozen food can taste good and be good for you. If you’re in the market for a good pot pie or quick and easy frozen meals, I highly recommend checking these out!
Questions of the Day: Are you a fan of pot pies? Have you ever made your own? Do Blake’s frozen pot pies sound like something you’d be interested in?
