Before I go on vacation I like to treat myself to some beauty pampering. It’s nice to have a fresh haircut and pretty toes for vacation pictures. Judging by how hard it was to squeezed in for a hair appointment tonight after work I’m guessing I’m not the only girl in the world who does this. 😉
Something else I’ve been doing to get ready for Mexico is working on whitening my teeth. I’m pretty self-conscious about my smile, so anything I can do to make it better is something I’m willing to try. Nothing makes you look vibrant and young like a beautiful white smile! The last time I was in Walmart I picked up the new Colgate® Optic White® Express White toothpaste. Whiter teeth in just 3 days*, just by brushing? Sign me up.
The magic of this toothpaste is that it has two times more of the professionally recommended whitening ingredient (Vs Optic White® Sparkling Mint®). Before this I was using regular Colgate toothpaste with whitening ingredients so it was an easy switch. This toothpaste won’t fix my narrow palette, my under-bite, or my crooked teeth but it will make my teeth shine brighter. I’ve learned that confidence is everything in life. I’ll take all the confidence boosters I can get!
Another thing that makes your teeth look brighter? Wearing white! Colgate’s new Optic White® Express White toothpaste inspired my red and white outfit for the day.
I snapped these pictures before I ran off to work this morning. We’re lucky to be able to dress down when we don’t have clients in the office. I love throwing flowy blouses over skinny jeans. That was the selling point for me.

I LOVE this toothpaste! And I think it definitely works 🙂 I like the whole “set” of items because I feel like I’m getting professional teeth whitening for a fraction of the cost.

Have you thought about doing Invisalign for your teeth? They are clear braces that straighten teeth without being noticeable to other people. I have had friends do this as adults, and some bloggers I follow have done it as well (including Peanut Butter Fingers), and I think it is such a great alternative for adults who weren’t able to have braces as kids. I am so grateful that I was able to have braces as a child, and I always feel badly for people who aren’t as fortunate. You are beautiful regardless though!

I am so jealous of everyone who had braces as a kid. I would have loved to have been able to. Because my palate is now fully formed I would actually need to have my jaw broken and wired shut, as well as a palate stretcher put in and braces for a few years. 🙁 I wanted to do Invisalign but was told I’m not a good candidate for it because of how much work I would need done.

I was always nervous to use white strips in case they fell off or felt weird. For me I love toothpaste because it’s whitening while I’m doing something I would be doing anyway.
