As we all know by now, I’m the moron that broke my tailbone ice skating. Since I’m not getting a lot of exercise in at the moment, I’m really leaning on my food choices to get me the weight loss results I want to see in 2015.
As excited as I am to fit into smaller jeans one day, I’m not eating clean just to look better. I want to treat my body better, and give it the nutrients it needs. By the end of 2014 I was eating way, way, way too much sugar and it left me feeling absolutely insatiable and blah. There’s no way I was doing my body any good eating what I was, and no way I was getting enough nutrients in my diet when so much of it was composed of desserts and empty carbs.
2015 is the year I make nutrition the star of my diet. I’m doing that by upping my veggie intake, minimizing my dessert intake, and graduating from a kids multivitamin to an adult one. (It’s a little over-due I think. 😉 )
I want desserts to be an occasional treat, not an all-day, every-day occurrence. And I want veggies to fill up most of my lunch and dinner plate. My body needs them, so hopefully through repetition my tastebuds will start to crave them. I also want a complete multi-vitamin that has adult servings of vitamins and fills in the gaps in my diet to make sure I‘m getting the recommended amount of key nutrients.and provides me with extra nutrients. When I went to the dermatologist he recommended I start taking a multi-vitamin with Vitamin D since most women are deficient.
Enter Centrum multivitamins. One tablet has 100% of my daily recommended value of Vitamin D along with the other essential vitamins and minerals many adults don’t get enough of from food along – Vitamin A, C, D, E and minerals Calcium and Magnesium. I just take one in the morning while getting ready for work and go about my day.

Weird, my dermatologist also told me to take a vitamin D supplement. Like repeatedly told me and was really insistent that I do it.

I will be on my prenatal until I get done breastfeeding, but then I’ll probably need to find something else. I love that everything you need is all rolled into one!

I used to take vitamins when i was working out every day, and would mix them into a protein shake. I always felt I did so much good stuff for my body when I was taking them.
As I started to work out less, I stopped taking the vitamins and now I want to get back into it. I think I’ll be less tired and more energized if I can add vitamins into my daily routine. Thanks for the Centrum suggstion and coupon… I think I’ll have to try that one out.
