Happy Monday!!
Today’s my first day of work! Ahh! I can’t believe I’m done with college and starting my career. This is surreal. I’m so excited, and so nervous. Hopefully they like me. 😀
I wanted to tell you guys about some of the awesome workout gear I’ve been trying out for the last month.

A few weeks ago I received these sweet kicks in the mail. Puma’s Formlite XT Ultra Fluo shoes are pretty much my dream cross trainer shoe. They’re lightweight, breathable, and are so supportive on my feet. Not to mention they’re super cute! ;p The outside design is inspired by a feather and the color is so on-trend right now. They’ve been accompanying me to a lot of Zumba classes and long walks. I’ve gotten compliments every time I wear them.
I also got a Puma tank and Performance Bodywear Tech ACTV Tights to try out. I cannot get enough of these pants! They feel like a second layer of skin when I wear them. They are compression pants and have athletic tape built into them to enhance your workout. They also wick away sweat incredibly well, it’s nice to work out in pants in the summer and not feel like my legs are dripping in sweat afterwards. They’re basically the bomb dot com and I love love love love love them. They are incredibly versatile for workouts.
Like jumping on rooftops. Just kidding.
Like I mentioned before I’ve been doing a lot of Zumba and walking in them, as well as Pilates and running. This is my running stalker pic. Getting all these photos by myself was super challenging. Thank goodness for an empty gym so there’s no one around to judge me! ;p While the top and pants are great for running the shoes are better for cross-training and Zumba-esque activities. I could spin and shake like no one’s business in these. Puma makes some cool looking running shoes that would be better suited for treadmill running.
While not what they are intended for they feel pretty great if you happen to find yourself jumping around on rooftops. Do you like how my clothing colors are all watermelon-inspired? I thought that was pretty cool. To get this picture I had my camera balanced precariously on the ledge of the roof. I ended up getting scared and tying a hair tie to the wrist strap and strapping it to a pole. #bloggerproblems
Something I’ve learned with working out is that it should be fun. There are a lot of workouts I don’t do because they’re not fun to me. The ones I do do are because I find enjoyment in them. I really like that Puma wants to encourage people to find the fun in fitness. In honor of that I created a fun little treadmill workout to share with you guys. I am *NOT* registered in any way, shape, or form in any facet of fitness training or counseling. This is simply a workout I do myself and enjoy. I taught myself to run by running for a song on my iPod and then slowing down and walking for the next song. I’m still not fast, but I’ve been able to up the incline and speed over time. This is a workout that always flies by for me and usually takes about a half an hour, depending on how long my songs are that day. I hope you enjoy!
If you try it I would LOVE to hear what you think about it. The change in incline and speed keeps me on my toes and helps me from getting bored while I’m indoors.
Questions of the Day: What exercises are fun to you? Do you like to jump on rooftops?

That treadmill workout looks like a fun way to pass the time (something that for me goes so slowly on the treadmill!).
I love the rooftop pics! I laughed at your description of how you had to take them. I’ve balanced my camera in some weird places, but never on the edge of a roof! Maybe it’s time both of us invested in a tripod 🙂
BTW, of course your co-workers will love you. How could they not?
Erin says
It’s definitely time I invest in a tripod! haha Aww you are so sweet, my coworkers have been amazing, I really like them!

I am never in the gym alone and always refrain from taking photos for fear of being judged for it….
