Hey guys! I’m back from Hawaii! Thank you all for being so wonderful to my guest posters. Josh and I had the best trip. I can’t wait to recap it all with you. As much as I loved Hawaii, I was excited to head back to Omaha. Summer in Omaha is jam packed with stuff to do, and I can’t wait for all the fun in the sun with Josh and my friends.

One of the events that I’m most looking forward to is the epic 80’s concert at the Mid America Center. On Friday, June 6th Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, and Little River Band are coming to Council Bluffs. (Right outside of Omaha.)

Something to know about me is that although I’m a total 90’s kid, that doesn’t mean I don’t love 80’s music. One of my favorite songs as a teenager was Jessie’s Girl… after I saw the movie 13 Going on 30 with Jennifer Garner. I quickly became obsessed with it – I was 13 and basically wanted to be Jennifer Garner. Such a sweet movie. And such a good song.

I cannot wait to drink and dance to this song. What a perfect summer song.

I’ve sang along to this song in the car so many times when it would come on the classic rock music stations. It’s a perfect roll down the windows and belt your heart out kind of song.
