Navy and White Look

October 1, 2014 30 Comments

I love living in Omaha but am in serious denial that cold weather is coming.  Can’t it be 75 and sunny all year round? Since temperatures have been in 70’s and 80’s the past few weeks, I’ve been living it up with summer dresses for as long as I can. Here is a navy and white look I put together.

This outfit took me from work to watching Scandal with my friends at night.

Earth Footwear sent me these super cute Bellwether Flats to try out and it was love at first sight. They’re all leather, incredibly stylish, and are able to be dressed up or dressed down. They’re also comfy. They have a padded heel that comes in handy when you’re doing a lot of walking, reinforced arch support which is perfect for my flat feet, and a multiple layers of cushioning for extra support. They fit like a dream, and at $95 fit right in my budget for shoes I will be wearing all day every day.

For this outfit I love how the dark brown of the shoes complimented the navy and stood out against the white in the dress.

image

Have you ever used a wire hair wrap before? I love how easy they make it for me to just throw up my hair without looking like a hobo. Especially since I lost my hair donut. 🙁 I need to pick up another one next time I’m at Target.

image

I felt fun and a little retro in this outfit. I thought it was the perfect combination of cute and sassy.

image

I have to twirl in every dress. It’s mandatory.

image

I’m planning on adding a brown cardigan to this look so I can wear it once more in the fall.

image

I think the shoes really help make the dress appropriate for multiple seasons.

Lovely! Also I love warm weather as much as anyone (actually I hate winter/snow…) but I still wish weather would get at least slightly chilly for Fall!
