My Latest StitchFix Review

January 14, 2014 17 Comments

I’m so excited I’m finally getting to share my latest StitchFix box with you guys! I’ve gotten a bunch of these over the last few months and have to say this is my favorite box by far! If this is your first time hearing about StitchFix it’s basically like having a personal shopper pick out clothes for you and send them to your door. You buy what you like and send back what you don’t. I actually have had so much fun with StitchFix I got Josh a giftcard to TrunkClub for Christmas. He is loving it.

So for this recap I was lame and didn’t actually get pictures of me wearing the clothes. I’m still grungy from my barre class and Josh has to wake up early for his first day back teaching classes tomorrow. So bathroom door clothing shots it is!

1. Skies are Blue Deagan Multicolored Lurex Short Sleeve Top – $40

I’m actually shocked but I LOVE this. It’s colorful and metallic and fun. Unfortunately it’s too small for me, so I had to return it.

2. Tart Peter Cinched Arm Detail Faux Wrap Dress – $108

Tart has been a good match for me. I love the color, love the fit, love the dress. This one was a keep.

3. Ravel Charlotte Striped Raglan Sweater – $38

I love the colors on this, and the sweater is so soft. The price is also perfect and it fit me great. The one thing I couldn’t get over was the thin stripes on the bottom. I wish they were all wide. This one was  returned.

4. 41Hawthorn Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress – $68

This is an in-house StitchFix brand. I’ve had some good luck with them in the past and love the color but feel like I already have a million dresses like this. Plus, it was a little snug so I sent it back.

5. 41Hawthorn Capitola Fit & Flare Tank Dress – $88

I didn’t know what to think of this dress when I pulled it out of the box but as soon as I tried it on I fell in love. I love how it hugs me on the top and flows out on the bottom. (Essential for pear shapes!) It’s feminine and playful and classy and just a whole lot of fun. This dress was a keep.

And that was my latest StitchFix box! I can’t wait to see what the next one brings me. I love that my stylist listened to me and sent me just tops and dresses, and colors that work with my pale skin. My first few boxes had a lot of creams and whites and those just wash me out.

Questions of the Day: Are any of these items your style? Have you tried StitchFix before?

I love all of your dresses! I can’t believe that one was over $100 though… definitely not in my spending budget but still cute. That top shirt kind of looks like a nurse shirt. Maybe its different when it is on!

I love these stitch fix posts! (:

When I told Josh the first shirt didn’t fit me he was like, “Oh what a shame.” haha He was not a fan. ;p

I was so happy with the dresses they sent. I’m trying to get more investment work/grown-up clothes in my closet.

Awesome! I’d love a personal shopper. I always get so overwhelmed when I go shopping for clothes.

It’s so fun! But yes, it can be scary when you like too much and see all the numbers! Haha

Thanks! Oh you can take longer than 2 days. They give you about a week before they start to email you and ask how everything’s going.

Super cute! Here’s what I want to know….when you opened your box, what was inside? Did you like the packaging and information?!

Thanks! Yes I did! It’s tied up with tissue paper and everything is folded nicely (My stuff got all wrinkled from sitting in the box unfolded while I decided what to keep.) There’s a note from your stylist and a list of all the products with outfit suggestion pictures. To be honest I never look at the outfit suggestion pictures, because I either like the clothing item or I don’t. I’ve taken a picture and described the box contents in better detail on previous posts. This is my sixth one so I just get to the good stuff!;p Here’s one: https://herheartlandsoul.com/getting-my-clothing-fix-from-stitch-fix/
