I’ve become pretty obsessed with Instagram since it came to Droid. I realized I was obsessed when looking back at my weekend pictures I realized only half were on my camera, the other half I snapped on my phone. If you want to follow me on Instagram my username is @girlgoneveggie and a link to all my random pictures is here. I promise there tons of yummy food ones! π
Like this one of Daelia’s Almond Biscuits smeared with got cheese. Josh and I were browsing T.J.Maxx this weekendΒ when we came across a set of their signature flavors and we bought them all. They’re so good! And if you’re wondering the winner of the Daelia’s Biscuit giveaway is Andrea. Congrats girly!! Please email me at [email protected] so I can get your prize on its way to you! I hope you love them!
I listened to this album nonstop driving to State College and back. I am a huge country music fan and was so excited to receive an advance copy of the new Edens Edge album in the mail! They have such good tone to their voices, and the beats are so catchy.Β The self-titled album comes out in stores tomorrow and I really recommend checking out their songs. I’ve been playing Swingin’ Door nonstop.
I love getting to spend my weekends with Josh. They’re my favorite part of the week! Saturday was a work day as Josh caught up on grading and I caught up on some blog stuff. I also got a workout in and it felt so good!
We stopped by Wegmans to pick up some food for the weekend and I had a field day with this adorable car. I’m not a big beer fan but this car is so cute it makes me wish I was! Oh savvy marketers, you sure do know what you’re doing. ;p
It was such a beautiful day. Josh and I loved getting to soak up some sun.
For lunch we stopped at Ottos and I got a veggie panini with a side salad and the most amazing lemon avocado vinaigrette dressing. I need to learn how to make that dressing in a Vitamix. I tend to go pretty light on dressings but that one was so good I finished the whole thing!
We did some browsing at T.J.Maxx and I was so excited to find Love Grown granola. I’ve heard such good things about this granola I was so excited to finally get to try it out. It has a really light, natural flavor that is so nice compared to the overly buttery, heavy granola out there on the market. Josh is in love with this stuff too, and he’s not a huge granola person so that’s a big endorsement coming from him!
Sunday was spent lounging, shopping at the mall, working on a project I’ll share more about tomorrow, and eating.
We stopped by Legends for the bajillionth time to pick up our favorite to-go order. I had to snap a picture of the ceiling decals, they’re so cute!
We each got a veggie panini and then we split a side order of fries and a side salad. We snuggled up and watched Iron Man 2 over dinner and it was so good. I love Robert Downey, Jr.! I really think he makes that movie. And now I really want to see Avengers!
After Iron Man 2 we flipped on Food Network to watch Next Food Network Star together. Josh got me into this show a year ago and we love watching it together and rooting for our favorites. About ten minutes into the show Josh turns to me and tells me he is craving chocolate. I am always craving chocolate so I was very supportive of this idea.
It led to Josh making a late night Weiss run to pick up chocolate. I was so excited when he came back with Duncan Hines Triple Chocolate Chunk muffins. There’s nothing artificial about them and they don’t contain any preservatives or trans fat. Now that’s my kind of muffin! π
The verdict? They’re delicious! Josh and I both agreed that they need more chocolate chips, although this is coming from two people who add extra chocolate chips to every batter possible. Everything is better with a few more pieces of chocolate! π
This morning started bright and early at 4:30 am. I stayed at Josh’s last night so I had to drive to Williamsport today to be at work by 7am. I made sure to start the day right with a big bowl of oats, a banana, and two tablespoons of almond butter. It was so good and really got me up and moving so early in the morning.
And now its my bedtime. I’ve got another big day ahead of me tomorrow!
Question of the Day: What was the highlight of your weekend?

That CD looks like something I need to look up…
Erin says
Its delicious! And yeah the CD is so good, its one of those ones where each song is just as good as the one before it. I’m a fan. π

Oh I can’t even begin to imagine how precious that memory must have been. Babies are so cute when they experience new things for the first time, I’m so glad you had a blast!
You are the second person to recommend the chocolate to me and it sounds so good, I really need to order it!
Kelly @ Laughter, Strength, and Food says
Hey girl! I live about an hour east of Pittsburgh…and I’m a Jazzercise instructor and we used to always have our districe meetings in Williamsport! So cool to find someone else from PA!
I am still looking for Love Grown granola at my TJMaxx, but haven’t found any yet!
Erin says
Omg that’s so cool we both live in PA!! I always love finding other people from the area, and I’m so jealous you teach jazzercise, that must be so much fun! If you’re ever back in Williamsport let me know, I would love to do coffee!

My weekend highlight was signing the contract for our soon-to-be house in Colorado!
Erin says
Omg congrats!! That is SO exciting!!
Elizabeth says
Looks like a fun (and tasty!) weekend. I will have to check out Eden’s Edge– I love switching over to country every now and then, especially when the weather’s warmer. Perfect for rolling the windows down and cranking the music. π
Erin says
Yes! Country makes for the best driving music!
Jen says
Yes – everything is better with more chocolate!!! & I love your simple banana oatmeal, nut butter breakfast. Yum!
Erin says
Oatmeal and nut butter are amazing together! Is it bad I’m craving some more at midnight? ;p
Caitlin says
You’ve always got the best eats goin, girl! Where do I begin? Um wow to Love Grown in TJMaxx, I need to hit up my local branch and search for that. And I just noticed the wheat mohawk on that ShockTop car, so cool. I’m a marketing nerd. I love that they prob knew you’d take a pic with it and post it somewhere – like a blog. Buzz marketing FTW! Love seeing it in action! That avocado dressing looks amazing. So does the veggie panini! I love a veg panini that doesn’t skimp on ingredients.
Erin says
Aw thanks, I love food! haha And yeah, I would definitely check out TJMaxx for it, its amazing granola!
