Made to Matter

July 27, 2015 73 Comments

Recently, I’ve been focusing on starting my days off with intention.

Made to Matter Products Her Heartland Soul

All too often I’m guilty of madly rushing from one to-do on my list to the next. While it’s great for being productive, it’s horrible for living in the moment. I want my days to matter. I want my actions to count.

I’ve been working on setting a routine for my morning that focuses on starting off the day calmly and slowly. I eat breakfast, write out my to-do list for the day, and do an internal check-in on how I’m feeling. Am I eating well? Am I spending enough quality time with Josh? My friends? Punkin? Am I getting enough movement in my day? Relaxation? Sleep? Fun?

It’s incredible what starting your morning off on the right foot can do for the rest of your day.

It’s also pretty amazing what eating and using products that are made to matter can do for your life. Target recently handpicked 16 brands that are making top-of-the-line natural, organic, and sustainable products designed to help you live a better life. Target wants to showcase them in their stores and make them more accessible to the public. I’ve got to give Target a huge virtual high-five for that!

I wasn’t shocked at all when I found out that Stonyfield was one of the 16 brands chosen. I am so passionate about their products, their company, and their commitment to quality organic ingredients. I enjoy their yogurt daily and rave about it to everyone I can.

What I was shocked to hear is that in celebration of Stonyfield being named a Made to Matter brand, they were creating a line of grains and seeds Greek yogurts exclusively for Target. (Other Made to Matter brands are debuting Target-only products in celebration as well!) Stonyfield’s Super Grains and Super Seeds yogurts will be available nationwide in August, but are already starting to pop up in Targets around the country. I was so excited when I found out they were already available near me. They’re just as delicious as you’d imagine.

As I strive to make my days better, it means a lot that Target is working to highlight brands that are making products that can help me achieve my goals. It’s yet another reason I love shopping at that store so much.

It’s all about intention. When we have a purpose and focus on living instead of just crossing things off our checklist, we’re able to be more in-tune with our life and our relationships. Great read!

Starting your morning with intention is such a great way to slow down and enjoy your day! I need to work on that. Also, as a Canadian who lost our beloved Target… I am so jealous of everyone who still gets to shop there! I cannot wait of my trip to Florida in the fall so I can stock up on all of my favourite Target brands!

This is something I need to work on. Starting my mornings off a little slower. Target…I love target. I love how they are getting more organic things in their grocery isle. It is expensive to eat healthy. That is really too bad. We all can benefit from eating healthy, it makes you feel so much better in the long run.

I need to focus on the moment… too often I find myself worrying about things in the future and not enjoying the present. I think this is something I’m going to try to do by writing a positive every morning and every evening. 🙂 I would LOVE to try Stonyfield’s new Super Grains …
