Omaha has had temperatures in the 70’s the past few days! I don’t know what is up with this weather in the beginning of March but I will take it. I’ve been using it as an excuse to pull out all my spring clothes a few months early. Today I wanted to share a spring workwear look that’s perfect for most semi-casual offices these days.

I recently picked up this lace-front top from Loft. I loved it so much I bought it in both white and navy. It looks great under a blazer or a chunky cardigan for work, but also holds its own when worn solo on the weekend.
There’s not actually a rule at my office that tops have to have sleeves, but I feel awkward without them, and usually always add another layer. Does anyone else feel this way?

I also just splurged in a major way on this bag. I’ve been lusting after it for months and finally pulled the trigger. It’s dressy, but still casual, and the perfect blend of black and brown, ensuring it can be worn with virtually any outfit.

You look adorable! I love that lacy top. And good for you for splurging on yourself. We all need to do that every once in a while! I am super jealous of 70 degree temperatures…I am still needing a heavy winter coat. We are still experiencing single digit temperatures on most days!

I super love that top – it looks amazing on you! I’m weird about sleeves too, especially in a more professional setting. I tend to like shrugs or cardigans with sleeveless things – they give me coverage without making me too warm in all the layers.
Enjoy the weather while it lasts. It seems the whole country is experiencing changes… CA is getting more rain than they hoped for (considering they’be been in a couple year drought I’d think that was a good thing) Here in SC all of our flowers and flowering trees are blooming… it’s about a month earlier than last year so I hope our weather holds up.

These look like great spring outfits. We have had a crazy year for weather out here in California. Unseasonably rainy and cool all year long. It’s nice that we are finally getting a touch of spring.
Girl, I think that has been the weather every where that’s why so many people are sick! I love it but it teases me for summer. Anyways, love the outfit. What a cute little purse that makes a statement without over doing it! Go girl!

The last place I worked had a uniform. A shirt with their logo and you could wear dark coloured pants/skirt or jeans. I loved that because I never had to think too much about what to wear everyday. Plus the shirt was made of material that did not need to be ironed. I seriously have not used an iron in many many years!

It has been a standard that sleeveless tops aren’t considered professional enough for the office, so I prefer capped sleeves. But I am generally cold, so I prefer a sweater or sleeves anyway. I love the bag, its pretty.
