Life Lately

May 7, 2014 19 Comments

Life has been busy lately! Even though I’ve been blogging frequently I feel like there’s so much I haven’t gotten to tell you. Read on for some life updates.

The One came out today! I’ve been beyond obsessed with this series and the final book did not disappoint. (Unlike other popular trilogies I’ve read…. Cough *DIVERGENT* Cough) The story was as captivating as ever and my heart was happy with how the series came to a close.  Now I can go back to being a normal human being and stop ignoring my husband. ;p

Speaking of my husband- we leave for Hawaii bright and early Saturday morning! (Doesn’t everyone get their hair and eyebrows done for the occasion?) We’re going to be gone the 10th-20th but I have some fabulous guest posts lined up for you guys. They’re so awesome you won’t even miss me. ;p Josh and I will be spending the beginning of our vacation on the North Shore before his conference starts in Waikiki. I love that we’re getting to do a mix of country and city on our trip. It’s going to be a fabulous time.

Josh and I saw Karmin this past weekend! They were amazing and sounded even better live than they do on the radio. They put their all into each song and know how to put on one heck of a performance.

This is my new favorite song.

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with cheap margarita pitchers and half-off nachos at Julios. It was perfect.

More drinking occurred at Toast Nebraska. I’m pretty sure I’ve now tried every sweet wine any local winery in the State of Nebraska makes. It was glorious. And I was very happy to not be the DD. ;p

And I got to try Cake Batter Popcorn from the Popperista. Omg you guys. (When I published this post at 2am last night I wrote Omg y’all. ?! I guess I start speaking with a country accent when I’m tired. haha) Words do not describe the deliciousness. And how I am going to be ordering bags of this in the future.

Question of the Day: What have you been up to lately? Let’s catch up!
