Hey guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! In honor of my new running shoes coming in the mail this past week I wanted to make a vlog updating you all on my running journey. In the video I talk about what I’m
doing to get fit and get acclimated to running, and also share my running shoes with you and tell you why I like them!
Please ignore my frizzy hair. It was hot and humid and that equals waves and frizz in my super fine hair. Also, sorry the camera does a weird moving thing when I bend down or reach over. When I uploaded the video to Youtube it said it detected movement in my video and asked if I wanted them to fix that for me. Apparently them fixing my bending down and moving is having the camera follow me. ;p
Also I was not compensated for any of the product mentions in this video. I just love finding good deals and love to share when I find awesome bargains. It’s like a sport to me. ;p

Aw thank you! Haha I always go to the salon and ask them to give my hair as much volume as possible and it never happens. I’ve come to terms with my hair. ;p

You do a great job with video! I love RRS–buy lots of my shoes there. One thing to consider with running shoes (I’ve been at it for 15 years) is that there’s lots of thinking/research these days to go with less shoe, rather than more. So if these don’t work out for you, consider minimalist. I can talk all day about it, so I won’t!

Aw thanks so much girly!! Yes I was definitely debating minimalist shoes. I talked it over with a fitness professor at my school and they said they’ve seen as many injuries from barefoot running as from running with supportive shoe. They said to go with what I was most comfortable with, and at the moment when running is still new and kind of scary, having the support seem safer to me. I will definitely re-evaluate as I get better at running!

I agree with above, you’re great with video! Running shoes are so insanely important, I learned that when I first started running, too. I also go up a full size with running shoes, it’s made all the difference!
