I have to admit, I have a total girl crush on Amy Schumer. She seems to be everywhere right now and the more I see and read about her the more I like her. I’ve added her to my celebrity BFF wishlist, right next to Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lawrence (This is a totally normal sort of list to have, right?).
Have you seen some of her stand-up? She is absolutely hysterical.
I’ve watched a few interviews of hers and love that behind her stand-up persona there is a genuinely smart, nice girl. I also love how strong she is, and how she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. She seems incredibly relatable to me.
I just saw her in Trainwreck (the movie she wrote and starred in) and basically tried not to pee my pants for two hours. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. It’s heartwarming, real, and is laugh out loud funny.
It’s the kind of movie you can equally enjoy with girlfriends and with your guy. I saw the movie with my friend Jordan and we had a blast. When I got home I immediately told Josh that he needs to see it, too. We’re planning to hit up the next $5 movie night at our local theater. I can’t wait to see Trainwreck again!

I love Amy, I’m so glad she’s been coming to the forefront of the media so much recently. I think she’s hilarious and real and relatable. I can’t wait to go see Trainwreck!

I first fell in love with Amy when I saw an interview she did with Jimmy Fallon a while back. I further fell in love with her Friday Night Lights parody on her show- hilarious. Oh also an interview she did with Ellen talking about living in LA. The girl is funny!
