I’ve got another fun 5k to add to my race plans. Neon Dash is coming to Kansas City August 23rd! (And a lot of other locations all across the country this summer.)
The Neon Dash is like a color run but at night and with neon color that shows up under black lights.
Like color runs there’s an epic party afterwards at the finish line.
And like the recent color run I did I’m also going to be running this one with friends. Joanna, Hannah, and I are heading to Kansas City for a girl’s weekend. Kansas City is less than three-hours away from Omaha and has so much great dining, shopping, and sites to see. We’re excited to make a weekend out of getting our glow on.
I’m really looking forward to this run. It looks like it’s going to be an absolute blast. This race is all about dressing up in crazy costumes and having fun with your friends. This is a running and walking-friendly race. You can even bring a stroller. Lots of people there will be running and walking their first 5ks so this is not a race to take very seriously or get caught up worrying about time. I plan on rocking out to the music and enjoying the night.

I really hate running, but this looks like it would be a blast. Maybe they’ll bring it to Ausralia or else I’ll have to see if I can run one the next time I’m home.
