This weekend…
I got my workout on! My legs were seriously sore from my meeting with my trainer at the end of last week so I knew I needed to stretch this weekend. I left my Pilates DVD at home so I ended up working out to this awesome total body Pilates routine twice this weekend thanks to the power of Google and Youtube. It made me feel so energized about Pilates and just so high on life. I have Blogilates fever!
I got my kale chip making on. Dehydrator love is in full swing around here, Diane and I are already making lists of different foods to dehydrate. I’m excited to try them all!
Josh and I got our tea sipping on. Sunday was rainy and cold all day, it was perfect tea weather. I am obsessed with this collection from Tea Forte, it’s all so rich and smooth and soothing.
Josh got his pumpkin pie oats making on. It was really good, and tasted like fall on a spoon.I will need to make it sometime for breakfast when I’m not busy…
…getting my Chobani and oats on! Favorite breakfast combo by far, I’m so excited to see what the new flavor of the month will be tomorrow!
I got my Birthday Beer on! Paige was so sweet and got me some sour beer for my birthday this past month. I’m weird and don’t like beer that tastes anything like beer so I love this stuff. I opened it up this weekend and enjoyed every sip.
Josh and I got our favorite grocery store shopping on. Wegmans is hands down our favorite grocery store. We took a break from shopping to pick up their $6 meals for lunch, they were so good!
So good we got our take out dinner on from there too. Farro for the win!
Everyone needs to get their favorite pizza indulgence on from time to time. For the first time in forever Josh and I split a calzone and it was heaven. Pizza Heaven to be exact. Spinach, garlic, ricotta, onions, and mozzarella make a great combo!
It’s fall, which means it’s obligatory to get your hot cider on. I enjoyed a cup while working on homework cuddled under blankets.
I never fail to get excited to get my nerd on every time business and finance magazines come in the mail. I love learning about new things going on in the world and trying to soak up advice for a sound financial future.
And now I’m going to get my sleep on because I am exhausted. Goodnight world!
Question of the Day: What did you ‘get on’ this weekend?
