Friday Five

Happy Friday everyone! I’m on my way to Iowa as you read this. Hannah is getting married tomorrow!! I am so excited to get to see Hannah marry the guy of her dreams and help her celebrate. Then on Sunday I’m off to Saint Simons Island for a few days for a press trip! Make sure to follow me on Instagram keep up with all the fun. Here are five things I’m loving this Friday:

1. If you have not seen Melissa McCarthy lip synch with Jimmy Fallon yet you need to watch this video. It will seriously brighten your day (And make you laugh out loud). She is so talented.

2. I picked up this dress for my press trip and am so in love. I never thought I’d love wearing orange, but this dress is so flattering and so comfy.

3. I have a cookie obsession and they are called Gimmee Jimmy’s cookies. Omg, have you guys ever had these before? They’re like the cookies you always got from a local Italian bakery that you thought were just regular cookies until you went to a non-Italian bakery for the first time and were like, “What the heck? What’s wrong with these cookies?” No seriously, these are that good. If you want to make someone’s day, send them a box of these.

4. Facebook always leads me down a rabbit hole. The other day it was with this comedian. I now really hope he comes to Omaha because he is hysterical. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who gets irrationally mad when the stupid TV remove doesn’t work.

5. Earlier this week, my friend Lauren and I were invited to a sneak preview of Semele with Opera Omaha. It’s the second opera I’ve ever seen and the first in English! I love that this story was written hundreds of years ago and that it gives modern day soap operas a run for their money.
