Happy Friday! Wow this has been a week. I’ve been a little MIA from the blog and my social media channels as I gave myself time to adjust to my new job, focus on sleep, and rest my brain. I hope you’ve been having a great week and have fun Halloween plans to look forward to this weekend! Here’s what I’m loving this Friday:
1. I’m absolutely loving my new job! It has been overwhelming and exciting and just a whole flood of emotions. I’ve never worked in a building with more than a few dozen coworkers and now I’m working in a building that has 2,000 of them. I’ve already learned so much and can’t wait to see what the upcoming months hold.
2. Calling all fig fans: California Figs is running a contest where you have a chance to win a personal fitness evaluation with celebrity fitness trainer, Valerie Waters, a customized exercise kit, entrance into a four-week Red Carpet Ready Bootcamp, a special care package from the California Fig Growers, and, of course, California Figs! 3. Adele is back! I love her music and have been playing Hello on repeat lately. If you have not heard this song yet you need to listen to it!
4. Muscle Maker Grill has been a lifesaver for me this past week. They precook meals that you pick up from their nationwide stores and reheat in the microwave for lunch and/or dinner. My favorite, the El Mexicano (pictured above) is 484 calories and has 45 grams of protein. Meals are healthy, delicious and the biggest timesaver. It has been amazing not having to worry about cooking when I’m adjusting to a new schedule and just feeling generally fried by the end of the day.
5. Crazy Ex Girlfriend is without a doubt the weirdest show I have ever watched. But at the same time it’s oddly charming? The best way to describe it is a train wreck you can’t look away from. There’s singing and comedy and lots of awkwardness. I’m hooked.

My family did a group costume of my daughter’s favorite Youtube video, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star! It was fun and cute, but easy for the adults! I’m not an elaborate costume person. 🙂
I actually haven’t heard the new Adele song yet, but it seems like everyone is talking about it, so it must be good!
