Friday Five 51

February 6, 2015 19 Comments

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! Who’s excited for the weekend? I am looking forward to spending some quality time with Josh. He’s had a busy week so I’m looking forward to us relaxing and enjoying some downtime together. It should be fun. 😀

In the meantime, here’s what I’m loving this Friday:

image

1. My dinner last night was Nothing Bundt Cakes. Have you had them before? They are the bomb dot com. I went to a Junior League Career Development talk on women entrepreneurs after work and didn’t have time to get dinner before it started. Thankfully there were refreshments. Three of these babies, two glasses of wine, and some cheese and crackers later and I was a happy camper. The panel was great. I found myself very motivated by all the things women in the Omaha community are accomplishing. It makes me proud to have my own little small business. 🙂

2. I know Saved by the Bell was more of an 80’s kid thing, but I loved watching re-runs of it in the early 2000’s. This Jimmy Fallon reunion skit was awesome and had me feeling nostalgic for Saturday morning cartoons.

3. Mamma Chia sent me some of their new Energy Beverages to try and I am such a fan. One of Josh’s friends introduced me to Mamma Chia drinks years ago when the company was just getting started and I’ve loved them ever since. I’m so happy to see the brand grow and do well. The flavor is great and I love the consistency of the chia mixture. (It sounds weird, but totally makes sense once you try it.)

Mamma Chia’s new energy beverages have the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee thanks to the addition of tea. If you’re a fan of the original Mamma Chia drinks, you’ll love these as the flavor is exactly the same. Mamma Chia was so sweet to not only let me try them but to also let me give some away to a reader. Simply comment on this post telling me why you want to try these drinks and I’ll pick a winner on Monday. 😀

4. I need another coffee mug like I need a hole in my head but I absolutely love this new Alice + Olivia coffee mug from Starbucks. I got the striped tutu one from their collaboration last year and am really tempted to add to my collection. Thoughts?

5. I have someone still not made it to a Target to buy Taylor Swift’s new album. Because of that, and her ironclad grip of her songs on YouTube, I have been listening to covers of her songs. I don’t know if you’ve searched but there are a bajillion of them. Apparently covering Taylor Swift is the thing to do on YouTube these days. I love this cover of Style.

I don’t know which I love more Mamma Chia or the Saved by the Bell reunion? Gonna have to go with the reunion because, hello, Zac Morris!

I have always wanted to try Mama Chia drinks but always walk away without buying one…and I have no explanation as to why!

Also…I vote ‘yes!’ when it comes to buying the mug!! 🙂

That mug really reminds me of the little costume designer from “The Incredibles.” Totally random, I know. But it’s cute! 🙂

That Saved By the Bell sketch was amazing! That mug is simply adorable. I would love to try a chia energy drink because I used to love energy drinks like Red Bull or Monster and now I refuse to touch them!

I’d love to try Mama Chia since I don’t drink coffee. Always looking for an alternative drink that has some caffeine!

That is one fancy looking mug! So different than what the typical Starbucks tumblers look like 🙂

One can never have enough coffee mugs. At least that’s my philosophy in life. 😉
