Friday Five 47

January 8, 2015 9 Comments

Hey guys! Happy Friday! I hope your week is going well and that you’re managing to stay warm. It has been frigid here in Omaha but the week has been amazing so I can’t complain. I love my job and finally got pain meds for my tailbone so I’m doing pretty good! Here’s what else I’m loving this week:

1. I get to see this guy on Saturday! I am SO excited. I’ve missed him like crazy. I don’t know how we used to do the long distance thing in college. Not to be weird but I feel like a part of me is missing when he’s gone.

2. I have finally managed to stop bitting my fingernails and love how they look all long and pretty. I am horrible at painting them and love having them done at the salon but can’t justify the cost when my nails start to chip after a week. Enter Dior Nail Glow. It makes my nails look groomed and polished without me having to worry about picking a good color and maintaining my manicure.

3. Good things come to those who hustle is one of my personal mantras in life. I saw this print on Etsy and am really tempted to get it for my desk at work.

4. Ellie Goulding’s new song for 50 Shades of Grey is amazing. I am way too excited for this movie to come out.

5. Truffles are one of my favorite flavors and I am loving the truffle sea salt Josh put in my stocking. My nightly treat to myself is a bowl of popcorn with some of this sprinkled on top. It’s delicious.

Questions of the Day: Is it below zero in your area too? I feel like a human popsicle when I go outside! What are you loving this week?

Awww, I totally feel for you on missing your man because of a long distance relationship. My fiance and I have been long distance since last Summer. BUT it’s even HARDER now to be long distance because I just got engaged to him on January 2. We are planning to finally move in together this Summer, so I cannot wait! Hope you have a great weekend.

Couldn’t be more excited for you that you & your hunnie are back together again. After years of dealing with a military relationship, it’s never easy having your man away!
