TGIF! I had a busy week of traveling for work, and while I had the best time I am so looking forward to a weekend filled with lots of sleep. Here’s five other things on my mind this Friday:
1. Residents of St. Louis: go eat at The Tavern if you haven’t already. I went there on Wednesday night for a business dinner and was blown away by the food and drinks. My phone died before my meal could come out, but the vegetarian risotto and brussels sprouts were delicious. It was a wonderful evening.
2. I’m loving this new Pitbull song. I haven’t heard it on the radio yet but hope to soon.
3. I can’t even handle how cute these deviled eggs are. This is a perfect recipe for Easter. Josh isn’t a fan of eggs, so I need to find an excuse to make these for a group of people. Here’s hoping someone has a Spring time party!
4. Josh and I signed up for a 10k! If you read my last race recap you probably think I’m crazy. I know I do. Neither one of us have done a 10k before, but when Josh won a free entry to this at the Blarney Stone race, we decided to bite the bullet and go for it. If this isn’t incentive to lace up my running shoes and get out there, I don’t know what is. Thankfully I have a few months to try and prepare for this. Please think happy thoughts! 😀
5. The Importance of Having a Mission Statement– I loved this post and definitely need to follow the author’s advice and create a mission statement for Girl Gone Veggie. I have changed so much since I started this blog and I want my blog and writing to reflect that. I’m so excited for you guys to see the blog redesign! We’re still finalizing design elements, but it is already a million times better than I could have imagined.
Question of the Day: What’s on your mind this Friday?

ohmygosh those deviled eggs are adorable!! And I’m curious to read the post on having a mission statement. That’s something that I’ve been thinking about lately.

With my new blog design I really want to take the time to create a mission statement as well.

AH I’ll come eat the chickadee eggs if Josh doesn’t want em! LOL!
Congrats on the 10k signup — and the mission statement writing. Both two things I’ve kind of been wanting to do (well, maybe a 5k first , it’s been aw hile since I’ve been running. Nicer weather can’t come soon enough)

Josh and I are going running tonight. I need to start building up my distance so I can handle a 10k
