Spring is in the air people! It was 70 degrees yesterday and it felt fabulous! I can’t believe Easter is next week! It is officially time Josh and I put away the Christmas decorations and freshen up the house. Which is exactly what we did last weekend.
We arranged a colorful centerpiece.
Added some cute chickies to our entryway.
And did a fun little $5 DIY craft for our coffee table.
We also set up a crafting station to wrap some gifts for Easter. Living far away from family is especially hard when you’re not able to be together for the holidays. My friend Molly’s family has adopted us and is so sweet to invite us to their family celebrations here in Omaha. We’ll be spending Easter with them again this year and I’m really looking forward to it. When Shari’s Berries reached out to me to see about spreading sweetness at Easter, I couldn’t think of a better family to shower with delicious sweet treats. They are a huge reason Omaha feels like home to me and Josh.
And speaking of sweet, have you tried Shari’s Berries before? Oh my goodness the strawberries are yummy. They’re so big and juicy! My favorites are the dark chocolate covered strawberries pictured above.
The cake truffles are AMAZING! I was legitimately sad to see this box empty. It’s like little bites of the moistest cake wrapped in chocolate. (Sidenote, but does anyone else hate the word moist? I wish there was another word for moist cake than… moist cake.)
And who doesn’t love sea salt caramels? These are ridiculously good.
Josh and I had a lot of fun wrapping up goodies for next week’s brunch. (Including these Easter brownie pops and these chocolate dipped Easter Oreos!) They’re such a great way to say thanks to a family that means so much to us.
If you have someone you want to say thanks to with a box of sweetness, leave a comment letting me know who. Or if you just want to enjoy some chocolate, leave a comment letting me know that. Shari’s Berries is giving away a special sweet surprise to one Her Heartland Soul reader! The winner will be picked Friday morning!
Questions of the Day: Do you decorate your house for Spring? How are you celebrating Easter? Have you tried Shari’s Berries before? Who do you want to say thanks to?
Thanks to Shari’s Berries for partnering on this post!

I don’t think we decorate our house for spring. That would be more of a question for my wife. I am celebrating Easter by being a part of the Church band here in Kuwait on Sunday then going to the pool with friends. I have not tried Sherri’s Berries before. Lastly, I would want to give chocolates to my wonderful wife. We had a baby last June then I deployed to Afghanistan in July. Since then she has done an amazing job taking care of him. There have been a lot of ups and downs over the last nine months but I can’t wait to return home next month and be with both of them again.

I’m literally drooling over these pictures. Although I will say, if I did win, I’d have to at least SHARE them with my MIL who has been working so hard to throw me an amazing baby shower this weekend. She is SO excited about it, and I’m so thankful for all the hard work she’s put in!

The berries look great, as do your Spring decorations. My friend did that finger print thing for their wedding too. They used it in place of a guest book. They had us put our finger prints on it and then sign it where our prints where.

I would love to send some sweetness to my grandma – she is turning 90 this Sunday! She’s an amazing woman who is still completely with it – she borrows my Netflix password for her iPad and watches all the latest shows. She also regularly beats me at Words with Friends! Hopefully she would share the treats because they look AMAZING!
