I’ve been really trying to make an effort with my appearance lately. For so long I have been phoning it in with my outfits because I haven’t felt good about the way I look. While I’m not the size I want to be, in the grand scheme of things I’m not doing so bad. There is no reason I can’t take some time in the morning to put together an outfit and slap on some makeup. I don’t have to look like a girl in a magazine to feel good about the way I dress. I’m a real girl living a real life.
So for the past week I have been putting more effort into the way I look. And I feel so much better about myself when I do. While I would not consider myself super fashionable, I do like fashion. I’ve been having so much fun putting together outfits and photographing them. I thought it would be fun to share some of my early fall outfits with you guys. If you like this kind of post let me know. I’m thinking about doing it weekly to give me some encouragement to play in my closet. 😀
At the end of each outfit I share where each piece is from. If the item is still in stores I link directly to it. If not, I just link to the store I got it from.
Turning 24
This was my birthday outfit. I wanted to feel cute and keep with the avocado theme by sporting some green.
