Hey all! I hope your week is going well! One of the things I love about the healthy living community is that I can geek out about fitness things and you guys get it. Fitness hasn’t been happening very often for me lately between going to the Doctor wheezing and with chest tightness which turned into me having asthma and my stomach issues that I’m currently dealing with. (Going to see a GI today so fingers crossed!) I know fitness is what keeps people healthy but when I’m not feeling well I get anxious and the last thing I want to do is exercise. I’m bummed I haven’t been able to keep up my exercise goals for the holiday season but I know right now I need rest and that when I’m back in full health my butt is going to be back on that treadmill and out on that pavement. Getting to exercise isn’t a chore, it’s a blessing. It means you’re healthy and your body is doing what it is designed to do. When I do get back to exercising I am so excited to be rocking this incredibly cute new outfit:
I love full length tights with a wide waistband and a pocket for keys. It is so important when I’m running outside to be able to store things on my body instead of having to hold them in my hands. My arms start to feel tired and my palms get sweaty and it is not fun. Pockets solve all of this! π I also love long racerback tanks with built in bras in bright colors and fun patterns. Being a smaller busted girl I don’t need a lot of coverage but when a tank doesn’t have support built in I have to wear a bra underneath. I don’t mind doing that butit’s nice to have one less garment to worry about. Together I thought this made a super cute workout outfit! I know your job isn’t to look cute when you’re at the gym but lets be real here: when you feel good about yourself and the way you look you’re happier and good things happen as a result.
This super cute outfit wasn’t purchased in a traditional manner. I received my outfit from a monthly-service company called pv.Body. I filled out a survey about what type of workout clothes I like, what type of exercises I do, and what my sizes are. I was nervous that they wouldn’t get the type of clothes I like right, I mean there are a lot of different gym styles out there. I was also worried the clothes wouldn’t fit right. While my upper body is super easy to fit and dress without much thought, my lower body requires trying things on and reading sizing labels.
I knew pv.Body was off to the right start when I saw a bright pink package waiting for me on the counter when I got home from work the other day. I wish all mail came in packages like this.
Fit, size, and functionality-wise pvBody understood my needs perfectly. The leggings are from American Apparel’s athletic line and the top is from a company that I seriously need to start shopping at called Electric Yoga. How adorable is the subtle striping pattern?Β Both are super comfy and breathable and movable. They are absolutely two pieces I would pick out for myself when shopping. A+ to pv.Body for getting it completely right. π
Easy peasy lemon squeezy: pv.Body is easy. Take the quiz, sign up and boom, an awesome package arrives at your door each month with a hand picked outfit for you!
Every outfit is styled just for you by a pv.Body expert. Each month you receive an outfit worth $150, but you pay just $49.95. Youβre getting great, quality pieces for a fraction of the retail cost thanks to the relationships pv.Body has built.
pv.Body is not just another clothing company, but a lifestyle brand. Their blog is a great place to check out tips and tricks for healthy, delicious meals and at home workouts.
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of pv.Body. The opinions and text are all mine.
Question(s) of the Day: What is your workout clothing style? Do you like looser fits or tighter fits? Do you rock brighter colors or stick with neutrals? Do you prefer working out in shorts, capris, or pants? Do you like shirts with built in sports bras or do you prefer to wear your own?Β

Everyone is reviewing PV!! It’s crazy! I have yet to jump on the band wagon because I already have TONS of work out gear… Everyone is trying to get me into “normal” clothing…. I ALWAYS wear yoga clothes EVERYWHERE I GO, even out for a night on the town, LOL! Comfort is key baby! π I am more of a TIGHT TIGHT pants girl but a loose fitting top. I love Lululemon’s No Limit tank. I seriously have one in every color – and I LOVE that they have built in bras and are kinda sexy but also practical!
Erin says
I have been known to rock my Wunder Unders at parties and nights out. haha They’re so comfy! We have the exact same dressing style, for working out I like everything fitted but for “normal” clothing I like tight bottoms and flowy tops. I feel like it balances me out a little more. ;p Yoga clothes are amazing, I wish I could wear them everywhere!
Mila @ Tales From The Kitch says
I’m glad to hear they got it right! I’m always scared to buy athletic wear online without trying it on first because It’s usually never right. I might have to add them to my wishlist! I usually like tighter pants (so they don’t fall down when I workout), and looser tops!
Erin says
That’s how I wear my day-to-day clothes, tight on the bottom and loose and flowy on the top, I think it helps balance me out! ;p

I joined PVbody awhile ago and have been very happy with what I’ve received, I love seeing all the different but quality brands that they send. I can see myself being a member for awhile!
Erin says
It’s so much fun!! I love the surprise factor, and the fact that it’s quality clothing from name brands.

I LOVE MY PV BODY.
I love me my workout clothing that way π
Erin says
pvBody rocks! As do you! π
Andrea says
You are so cute!! I LOVE workout clothes. I always think I need more lol!! I like shorts or capris and I generally go for semi-fitted tops. I’ve always been so self- conscious about my arms and so I’ve never wanted to wear tank tops but I’m trying to break out of that mindset π
Erin says
Girl you could ROCK tank tops!! Workout clothes are so awesome, I wish it was socially acceptable to wear them all the time. ;p
Christine @ Love, Life, Surf says
Your outfit is super cute! Love the blue top. I’ve been really happy with my pv.body outfit so far and it’s really fun seeing what everyone else got.
Erin says
I know, I have been loving reading everyone else’s reviews! It’s so fun to see the different options! I love the blue color, since I have blue eyes I always try to find ways to rock blue when I can! ;p
jenna says
loooove bright colors! you look great! prayers for the asthma to become more manageable soon! spa<3
Erin says
Thanks Jenna! My asthma has been completely under control (non existent since I haven’t been running lately), it’s the unexplained chest tightness I was worried about. But I’ve had an EKG and a chest Xray and everything looks good. They say it can be the cold weather and anxiety. At the moment I’m really anxious to get my constant stomach cramps figured out. I just don’t want to not feel well over the holidays.
Danielle @ itsaharleyyylife says
this company looks awesome! I love the outfits. If only I had 50 dollars a month to spend on workout clothing!
Erin says
It’s definitely a splurge. When I think of how much I’ve spent on one piece at Lululemon before though… it makes this seem like a much better deal. ;p
Marcia says
Cute! I would love it if pvBody would send mine already–4 weeks and counting is too long to wait!
Erin says
Oh no, I hope you get yours soon!
Kierston says
I love anything that fits just right…whether it be loose or tight! I love bright colours. You look great in ur workout gear!
Erin says
Aw thanks girl! Bright colors definitely make a workout more fun!

I love pvbody! My package is currently at my in-laws since we were in between houses when I ordered. I can’t wait to get it at Christmas!
Erin says
Yay! I’m so excited for you, it’s like an extra Christmas present! π
Heather (Where's the Beach) says
I’m with you on missing working out right now. Resting gets old quick. Super cute workout clothes though. I love when the weather is just right for capri tights. You know you don’t have to worry about chaffing in them. But I do wish more active gear included more pockets to stash things in.
Erin says
Pockets are so important in workout clothes! Hopefully more companies jump on the bandwagon.
I’m thinking good healing thoughts for you girl. <3 Blood clots sound terrible.
Amanda @ Run Principessa says
I like tighter fitting pants personally! Tops I’m more lenient with, but I can’t wear a T-shirt when I work out. My arm pits don’t like it. π Hang in there my friend!! You’re making a good call listening to your body and it will pay off!
Erin says
Thanks girl! I’m so excited to hopefully get some answers today! I worry way too much. ;p
Debbie @ Live from La Quinta says
I’ve been reading a lot about pvbody lately and everything has been positive, so that’s a good thing! I think your top is really cute and I love the color. I tend toward bright colors myself, and I a like longer, slightly looser fit these days.
Erin says
pvBody is awesome, I’d highly recommend them. I’m in love with my outfit! π
Laura @ Mommy Run Fast says
I just got to try these last week too, love them! Especially that bright pink package. I used to shy away from tight fitting tights and tops, but have since realized I perform better in them. Cute outfit! Hope you’re feeling 100% soon.
Erin says
Thanks so much girly! Yeah I’ve noticed the same thing with tighter fitting workout clothes, there’s less bulk and material you have to work around when working out.
Caitlin says
I love seeing what everyone gets from pvBody since it varies! I got a similar colored top and long leggings too but I can tell both are diff kinds than what I got. You look great in the outfit! I know what it’s like to be anxious with exercise while dealing with GI stuff. Totally the worst! I hope you get to the bottom of it soon and get to take advantage of the blessing of exercise again!
Erin says
Thanks so much girl! I love my outfit, pvBody really knows how to choose the right styles for the right people. And thanks for the GI well wishes. I’m so excited to have my appointment today, I can be a hypochondriac that always assumes the worst so it will be nice to hopefully get some real answers that will set my mind at ease.
Adrienne @ Happy Ramblings says
I have been reading so much about pvBody and it all sounds awesome. I signed up yesterday, I can’t wait to get my package! Love the outfit they sent you. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
Erin says
Yay, I hope you love it! Thanks so much girly! I went to the GI doctor today and they think I may have IBS or IBD. I’m getting checked when I get home from my holiday vacation.
Alison @ racingtales says
Nice review, Erin! You look great in that outfit. Sorry you haven’t been able to work out lately, hope you can get those issues sorted out soon. Forced breaks are no fun!
Erin says
Aw thanks Alison! I love the outfit. And I think my health is on the up and up, I did some more blood work today after my GI appointment and have an appointment to get things more thoroughly checked after I get back from my Christmas vacation.
Meg Pickarski says
you look great!

Erin says
Aw thanks Megan. <3 MISS YOU!
