Those who know me know that I’m a pretty high-strung person. I’m constantly buzzing, constantly going, and constantly feeling the need to do more, more, more. Thank goodness for Josh’s chill to combat my chaoticness. He’s amazing at staying calm, and has an incredible ability to be present and focus on the moment in a way I can only wish for.
Together, Josh and I have been working on creating little moments of chill for ourselves, where we enjoy the present and just focus on unwinding from the day. These moments have become some of my favorite parts of the day lately.
During these moments of chill, I’ve been reaching for a cup of tea. It’s nice to enjoy a warm, low-calorie, caffeine free cup of tea before bed each night. There’s something so soothing about sipping tea to me.
I’ve really been enjoying adding Lipton‘s new and improved tea flavors into my relaxation arsenal. They’ve got something for everyone with their green teas, black teas, and herbal teas. Also, how adorable is the packaging? My favorite is the Luscious Herbal Tea Peach Mango. It relaxes all my senses with it warmth, fruity taste, and floral smell.
It also goes great with a cookie or too. 😉 My hope is to eventually extend these moments to include a little book reading before bed. I love the notion of falling asleep with a good book instead of mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. In the meantime, here’s to progress, and cheers to chill!

I love tea! It really helps to calm and center me. Also exercising; I can see such a big difference in myself if I stay away from the gym too long.

I definitely need to chill with something like a book or something else that’s nourishing for me – NOT my phone or Netflix, haha!
