Friday Five 41

Friday Five 41
Happy Friday! I am so looking forward to this weekend! I have a fun massage scheduled at Moxie, a Thanksgiving event at Whole Foods, a Friendsgiving event at Joanna's, and a lot of planning and prepping for starting my new job December 1st. In the meantime, here's what I'm loving this Friday: image 1. A fun dinner date with Erin! We went to Hiro 88 after work the other day and had a blast. I got the chicken fried rice which was the bomb dot com. I could live off that stuff. We were both rocking our glasses from Glasses Shop at dinner. I love how they are high quality, so cute, and super affordable. Erin is wearing the North Platte Wayfarers and I'm wearing the Ludington Wayfarers. I think hers look adorable on her. Don't forget that if you use the code ERINX20 you'll save an extra 20% off at checkout. I'm going to be using my own code soon, as I was told when I went to pick up my contacts today that my glasses prescription was told to me wrong over the phone. It turns out the prescription I gave to Glasses Shop when they made the glasses is too strong. While I see out of them great using a stronger prescription than necessary can lead to my eyes developing a dependence and getting worse over time. They cautioned me not to wear any glasses with the wrong prescription which means these cute glasses are having to go back in the case. :( 2. This song has been on repeat for the entire week. And how incredible is this video? I don't understand how Taylor and I aren't best friends already. Fiberlash Erin Fairchild Her Heartland Soul 3. I am loving my super long lashes! They are all thanks to this product: Fiberlash Erin Fairchild Her Heartland Soul 2 Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. I was given the opportunity to try out this product and am so glad I did. If you're anything like me you've seen this product making the rounds on Facebook but were wondering if it really could give people the long lashes it claims to. To be totally honest, I tend not to trust makeup if it's not sold at Sephora. But I was seeing so many pictures of people's incredible results, so I figured I would give it a try. The premise is simple: 1. Put on a coat of your regular mascara on each eye and let dry. 2. Coat your right eyelashes with the transplanting gel. It goes on like regular mascara. 3. Before the transplanting gel dries coat your right eyelashes with the natural fibers. 4. Finish the right eye off with a final coat of transplanting gel to make sure the fibers are locked in place. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 on your left eye. It was really that simple. I am not a make-up maven and I was able to get this right from the first try. I was previously worried the fibers would flake, get in my eye, and/or be irritating. They were none of those things. They latched right on to my eyelashes thanks to the transplanting gel and extended their length like falsies would. They're easy to wear and feel great. They also make my eyes look so much more open and wide. I will 100% be buying more of this when I run out. I love it! LOFT Woven Colorblock Scarf Her Heartland Soul Erin Fairchild 4. This Ann Taylor scarf is so beautiful and on sale for $26.99 right now. It looks just like the Tilo one I have but for 1/6th the price! Toms Grey Sweatshirt Target Her Heartland Soul Erin Fairchild 5. TOMS is releasing a collaboration with Target this Sunday! They are donating meals and clothes to those in need with every purchase just like they do with their own line. I am all about this grey sweatshirt and can't wait to order it when it comes out. It's only $22! [Tweet "Friday 5: @toms for @target, @anntaylor, @taylorswift13 #foodiechats #fitfluential #omaha #ff "] Questions of the Day: What are you loving this Friday? Do you like Taylor Swift's new song? Will you be checking out the TOMS for Target line when it comes out?
