Sometimes, a girl’s just gotta have an at-home beauty day. It’s fun to try out new products and pamper your skin.
When I was recently at Target, I picked up the newest Bioré® charcoal products.
Have you heard about cleansing with charcoal? It’s known for its ability to draw out and then trap deep-down impurities. I picked up the Bioré® Self Heating One Minute Mask and Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip.
I started off my beauty night with the Bioré® Self Heating One Minute Mask. It’s oil-free and the unique formula heats on contact to open pores and remove pore-clogging dirt and oil. It cleans your pores in just one minute instead of the usual 10+ minutes required of other beauty masks.
The warm mask felt so good on my skin. You’re supposed to massage it for the entire minute. I had fun making silly faces for Josh during this time.
The minute passed by in a blink of an eye. As good as the mask felt I was excited to wash it off since charcoal isn’t such a good look for me. 😉
After washing the mask off, I immediately noticed how soft my skin was. I also felt like it gave me a nice glow.
I ended my beauty night with the Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip. It unclogs pores and draws out excess oil for a deep clean. The new charcoal formula reduces shine so you see three times less oil! And it then keeps oil at bay for the next 24 hours!
I’ll spare you the after picture of all the junk that came off the pore strip, but suffice it to say I was very happy with the cleaning job it did. Yay for less shiny noses!
I really liked these products and could totally see myself using them again! They smelled good, were gentle on my sensitive skin, and gave me noticeable results!

Absolutely! Yes, I love Biore strips but always gross myself out when I see all the junk they removed from my nose pores!
I love masks! I just got a mini set of Boscia ones from Sephora that have been fun to try out!
Ohh how are you liking them? Masks are such a fun treat! I can never get over how crazy I look in them though!
I use real charcoal products on a regular basis LOVE them, they do wonders for my skin. That being said, I have tried these products and they are absolutely nothing like real charcoal products. Save your money and go buy the real thing.
Oh I thought these were great. They’re for occasional use to soften skin and clear out pores. It’s hard to not do that correctly. I would love to try other charcoal products as well. Which ones do you recommend?
I’m currently using their charcoal facial cleanser in the shower in the morning and have been happy with the results. It is tingly and refreshing, but don’t get it in your eyes.
