This week marked Josh’s first full week back at school! I can’t believe he is entering his third year as a professor! Time flies.
People who know Josh know he is truly the sweetest guy in the world. Seriously, I hit the husband jackpot. So when an opportunity comes up for me to get to do something nice for him, I’m all about it. I know how excited and nervous he gets about new classes and new students so I thought it would be fun to put together a little back to school survival kit for him. Students aren’t the only ones who need new supplies!
I picked up this little black crate at Walmart and thought it would be great for storing random odds and ends in his office. I spruced it up with a little ribbon in Creighton’s colors.
Shopping for his back to school kit was so much fun. I wandered the store aisles and thought about what he would both need and want for the school year. Some things are practical, like pens, deodorant, and hand sanitizer. Some things are fun, like his beloved Reese’s Pieces and Nom Nom Nom panda napkins. All are things he will use and appreciate having this school year. I know he likes to look his best at work so that Schick Hydro® 5 Razor will really come in handy!
All the goodies wrapped up and ready to be gifted to my hardworking guy when he got home from school. This DIY took me less than ten minutes!
He loved his basket and immediately remarked on how it was perfect timing and he really needed new razors. The blade on his old one was getting dull so he didn’t shave that morning. Schick® to the rescue!
Questions of the Day: Do you have a loved one heading back to school this fall? Would they appreciate a back to school survival kit? What would you put in it?
