Hey guys! I hope you’re all having a great week. Yesterday I had to call in sick to work, so I took a sick day from my blog as well. I spent the day sleeping and watching 90’s movies on the couch. It felt so good to get to sleep. I hope this will nip in the bud whatever I was coming down with.
If you guys have been reading here for a while you know that last year I discovered (and became hooked on) POPSUGAR Must Have Boxes. They’re a fun monthly treat to myself (I buy these with my own money) that have introduced me to some fun, new products. I seriously cannot count the number of times I hear a friend talking about a new product they just heard about and I say, “Oh yeah, I got that in my POPSUGAR box a few months ago.”
This is box number eight for me. And in typical Erin fashion, I’m reviewing August’s box in September. Better late than never right? Here’s what I got:

thinkThin Brownie Crunch High Protein Bar (Value: $1.99)
I always check out the food in the box first. While I love brownies I was not such a fan of this protein bar. It tasted very protein powdery. I ate about half the bar and tossed the rest.
Kendra Scott Elle Earrings in Slate (Value: $52)
I’ve been really wanting to step up my accessories game. These are 10x bigger than my day-to-day studs but I’m excited to try them out. I’m thinking I might wear them to the roaring 20’s Halloween party I’m going to.
Lollia At Last Perfumed Shower Gel (Value: $22)
This smells so great but after my meeting with Anna Lise I’m using Eucerin Aquaphor Wash for my sensitive skin. I will be re-gifting this to a friend.
Paddywax Ocean Tide + Sea Salt Mini Jar Candle (Value: $10)
My dream would be to live by the ocean. Since that will never realistically happen, I’m all about nautical designs and ocean flavored candles. I love this one and love that it fits a lot of our apartment’s color scheme.
Goodbyn Purple Meal and Dipper Set (Value: $8)
I don’t know who can pack a lunch and have it fit in this little box. My spinach, strawberry, and avocado salad is 3x this size. Josh said he’ll use it for his daily peanut butter and jelly sandwich though, so that works for me. 😉
The Mason Jar Cookie Company Celebrate! (Value: $12)
A second food item in the box? I’m down! This looks amazing! I can’t wait to make these cookies.
Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip (Value: $22)
I love Bite beauty products, and they have Anna Lise’s approval. They’re made of food-grade ingredients and are incredibly high quality. It always freaked me out a little bit when I applied lip glosses and lip sticks when I never really knew what was in them. I like that I don’t have to worry with these. Now if I could feel the same confidence in mascara, since it always ends up in my eye when I remove it.

ohh i love their boxes! i bet that mix is amazing. perfect for fall baking!
I’m so bummed, Josh was checking the ingredients and noticed there’s partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. I try not to eat anything with trans fat once I know it’s in it, but know there are people who are way less strict than I am. If you’d like the baking mix I’d love to send it to you!
