A Whole Foods Feast

December 10, 2015 24 Comments

Last month I was invited to a Whole Foods holiday feast. It was a night of delicious food, great company, and an education on the 2016 Whole Foods Holiday Catering Menu.

This was my third year attending the blogger event and I love seeing how the holiday catering menu changes and grows each year. Josh and I use Whole Foods catering for our Hanukkah party and for our Christmas Day feast. One day, when we host Thanksgiving, we’ll likely cater that too. I just love that Whole Foods offers an easy option for healthy, delicious food when you’re entertaining. Less mess, less hassle, and a lot more fun!

We dined at a beautifully set table.

And all the fixin’s! Green beans with toasted garlic and leeks, traditional herb stuffing, roasted root vegetables, and cranberry relish.

My plate of happiness.

Followed by sweet treats from the Whole Foods bakery. I’m obsessed with the mini tartlets.

If you’re looking for catering this holiday season, I cannot recommend Whole Foods enough. They have food for every occasion, and offer you the option to order in-store or online. With all the to-dos and events I have going on this time of year, it’s nice to just focus on enjoying the season and leave the worry, stress, and hassle of cooking to Whole Foods. They’ve got me covered. 😉

This looks so scrumptious, but Whole Foods is so expensive – and not just for the organic produce and such. The same bag of Bob’s flour costs 10-30% more at WF than at my local health food store or mainstream grocery sadly.

Check out the Whole Foods 365 brand. It’s their store brand and organic is usually quite a bit cheaper than a regular grocery store because they buy in such volumes. I love it!

I do buy the 365 frozen veggies, but that’s the only thing I’ve found to be less pricey. The mix I buy is delicious (corn, edamame, carrots and peas) and there is indeed no better value for it 🙂

This all looks completely delicious – I stop by Whole Foods Cafe for lunch all the time, and if I ever have catering needs, they’ve just been added to my short list.

I’ve sampled their holiday food in the store and it’s always good. It’d be fun (and easy) to do a whole feast with it.

WOW to that meal!! I often don’t think of grocery store meals looking like that….but Whole Foods isn’t like other stores. That looks like such a delicious meal and I wish I was eating all of it right now 🙂
