I can’t believe how fast the end of the week flew by! I’ve been go-go-go-ing to try and get stuff done and ready so that when I leave for Orlando next week I’ll be all caught up on schoolwork and all ready to go. I am SO ready for the 80 degree weather and sunshine! It has been a cold, rainy, windy mess here for the past week straight.
The blah weather has been inspiring me to get moving and add some aerobics to my days. Hayy Myspace picture shot! I’ve been doing the 10 Minute Solutions Fat Blasting Dance Mix and let me tell you, those workouts are no joke. Can you see in the picture how beet red my arms are? The workouts make me sweat and feel so good!
Old fashioned oats + Chobani Apple Cinnamon Yogurt + Banana + Cinnamon is the only breakfast that gets me to my geology lab on time. When you find yourself hitting the snooze button until 7:30am for an 8am class its good to have a breakfast you can make in 3 minutes. Even better when that breakfast actually tastes good, is good for you, and keeps you full until you get out of said lab at 12:30.
I’m a farro monster. It was a sad day when I ate the last of the farro in my house. I’ve been meaning to make my own but Wegman’s has truly perfected this recipe, the nutrition is good, and the price per pound is cheap. I mean why mess with perfection?
I’ve been putting this on every bread, cracker, and piece of cheese I can find lately. Honey Ridge Farms sent me a sample of their Blackberry Honey Creme to try and I am absolutely in love with it. I’ve always loved honey and once got to sample over 20 different honeys at a honey farm. I love this one because of the richness and fullness of the flavor. Its really got me wanting to make fresh biscuits to put it on. I love honey and biscuits!
I spiced up my breakfast burrito (that I was having for dinner one night) by subbing out the hummus and cheese and subbing in cream cheese. While hummus and cheese are a rather amazing combo I love the way eggs and cream cheese taste together. It makes it taste like a completely different meal.
And the best news of the week I have to share is that I got my car looked at on Thursday by a garage and they are able to completely take care of the rust on the underside of my car for way way less than I was expecting and can have it done in a day! It was caused over years of exposure to rock salt in the winters and thankfully it didn’t do any structural damage, just some cosmetic. I’m going to have it done while I’m in Florida so I won’t have to worry about needing it to get somewhere. It was the biggest relief to know my car is going to be fine and will live to drive another day. I need it to last as long as it can!
Question of the Day: What was the best news you got this week?

Oh my goodness that lab is so long! I couldn’t imagine being in there for almost 5 hours! I think I would go nuts. Have fun on your trip! I bet Florida is going to be amazing. 🙂

Thank you so much! I am so excited for Florida! And yeah, its a super long lab, although thankfully its a pretty fun class so it goes by pretty quickly. I could not handle being in a lab that long if it was for chemistry or something like that! ;p
