This weekend was a busy one for Josh. While I was doing fun things like seeing Divergent, going to a blog meetup, and spending my Sunday at a bridal shower, Josh was sequestered in his office grading papers and writing up a test. The end of the semester is a busy time for Professors!
When I got home from Molly’s bridal shower on Sunday afternoon I decided Josh needed a little work break. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to spend a little bit of it with him. So I told him we were going to have a quick mid-day date.
Our impromptu date was going up to the roof to enjoy some us time in the sunshine.
Pure Leaf sent me some of their Not Too Sweet Honey Green Tea to try. Josh and I are big tea fans. We love the refreshing taste and the antioxidant benefits the drink provides. With the weather in the 60’s, I knew this green tea would be the perfect thing for us to sip on while we spent some time together.
Pure Leaf tea is made with real tea leaves, and without any preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. It is sweet without being overly so and tasted great on a warm day.
Josh was a fan too. I think he appreciated being forced to take a break. ;p
We both appreciated getting to spend time together. It was nice to get to chat and catch up. We also got to laugh over me having a total Marilyn Monroe dress moment on the roof. It was windy!
That little roof-top date added some goodness to our day. Life is busy. It’s important to always make time for the ones you love. They’re the ones who make all the craziness and business of life worth it.
Questions of the Day: Are you a tea fan? What’s your favorite flavor?
Pure Leaf is real brewed iced tea, which means it’s brewed from REAL tea leaves picked at their freshest, never from powder or concentrate. The result is a refreshing iced tea with perfectly balanced aroma, body, and flavor. Learn more at http://www.facebook.com/pureleaf.

Awww, y’all are so cute. I tried the Raspberry flavor, but am going to pick up this one because it’s “not too sweet” – I like that!

Mmm…I love tea. Sweetened iced tea is my fave, but this winter, I started drinking hot tea to help me warm up after my frigid pre-dawn runs.

Ohh I love that rooftop view! Where exactly is it? How nice that you get to enjoy that view whenever you want.
I am indeed a fan of tea, especially for the caffeine. Some people don’t realize how much caffeine that black tea actually has. I actually love Pure Leaf’s black tea, as well as Starbucks 🙂
