Hello, hello! I hope you’re all having a great start to your day. My morning has been a little rough.
Our apartment building had a holiday party last night. There were a few apartments decorated for the holidays with food and drinks on multiple floors. It was so much fun and great to get to meet some of our neighbors. I love where we live and how nice everyone in the property is. Having so much vodka and punch on an empty stomach was not the best idea though. My husband is a saint and took care of my drunk self.
Before the boozing festivities started Josh and I got dolled up for a mini photo shoot with Kitty! She did a fall photo shoot with us a few months ago and we absolutely loved the pictures. My friend Joanna mentioned she was doing an in-home Christmas photo shoot, and I decided it would be fun to do one as well. It was a really quick shoot, we just wanted a few photos of us in front of our tree. We got a frame to commemorate our first Christmas at Hobby Lobby when we realized we didn’t have any pictures to put in it! Kitty was amazing, as always, and we love our Christmas photo. I am so excited for the holidays this year!
Speaking of the holidays, I feel like I’ve been doing a pretty good job of getting into the festivities this year. Then I opened a holiday card from a friend and realized how truly crafty some people are. Alissa makes beautiful homemade Christmas cards every year. I love it.
Have you heard Kelly Clarkson’s new Christmas song, Underneath the Tree? I’ve had this on repeat for days.
Question of the Day: What are you up to today? I’m giving a speech on social media Wednesday and Thursday at a work meeting and am so nervous. So today I’ll be practicing for that!

I am always surprised at creative and crafty our friends are when I open up my mail this time of year. I wish I was willing to spend the time and energy making cards myself but I order them online and call it a day! This week is a back on track week for me and it’s also filled with piles of work I have been putting off. Yay for training and boo for work!

Fun! We just switched to an all Christmas radio station at work and I love it!

Thanks, Erin! You’ve been pretty crafty yourself for the holidays. I’ve been impressed! 🙂
