I find that as my hair gets more unruly, my color starts to grow out, and I find myself in all-around need of a haircut, I start to shop for hair accessories. Call me the ultimate procrastinator, but I find it so much easier to put on a headband than make an appointment and give up hours at the salon.
I have some trips coming up where I’m going to want my hair to look nice, so I have to get a haircut this week. Regardless, during the past few weeks when I’ve been putting off making an appointment I’ve found some pretty hair accessories that will look even better in freshly-done, clean hair.

I tell my daughter, if your going to throw your hair up in a ponytail, at least make it look pretty. Sending her this.

I am not a big fan of hair accessories. I keep it simple with rubber bands. In the summer I am on the Harley a lot, so it’s a bandana that gets thrown on my head… so in my world that is considered a hair accessory, i suppose. 🙂
I do put off getting my hair done, only because my hair dresser is 90 miles away from me.
Out of your picks, I can see me using #8 when I teach my fitness classes! That might actually work!

I love the look of hairbows, but I feel like I can’t pull it off without looking so much younger!

These are beautiful! I especially love the headband in box eight. Thanks for sharing!

I love headband #7, I just don’t think I can get away with wearing it! Those bobby pins, though! GORGEOUS.

I love headbands but don’t usually wear them as I find they ‘dig’ into the side of my head which equals “ouch!” Number 7 is so pretty though, I might be tempted to give it another try.

#2 is my fave! The only time I use hair accessories is a ponytail for the gym, though. I shy away from hair cuts too. A trim to me is just snipping the ends. I have yet to find a stylist who thinks the same. Last time I went in for a trim, she cut an inch off. Not a happy camper when that happens.
