Happy Friday everyone! Who’s excited for the weekend? I’ve got some Junior League activities to look forward to and then a whole lot of apartment cleaning… which is much less exciting but will be good to get done. 😉 Here’s what I’m loving this Friday:
1. Josh and I went to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch over his fall break this week and had a blast. This place is the Disney World of pumpkin patches. We went on a hayrack ride, went through a haunted house, played some carnival games, ate pumpkin donuts, and picked out this cute pumpkin. It was such a fun day. It felt a little weird doing so many fall activities when it was over 80 degrees out but I’m not complaining because I know it will be freezing in a few weeks and I’ll be missing the warm weather!
2. The Anthropologie in my area hosted a free crafting event this week. They are currently making their holiday displays and enlist customer help decorating. In exchange for helping them craft you get to spend an afternoon at Anthropologie, eat yummy snacks, and take a craft home with you for your hard work. How gorgeous are the shooting stars we worked on? I loved how they turned out and can’t wait to see them displayed!
3. I tried V. Mertz for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It’s a high-end restaurant in Omaha that Josh and I have had a Groupon to for forever. They typically do really meaty stuff but always offer a few veggie options. My dish was basically a fall vegetable garden on a plate and it was heaven. We absolutely loved it and I would definitely go back.
4. I picked up this desk calendar for my new desk. I’m in love with the print. To-do lists are how I stay sane.
5. I’m on a serious stationary kick because I also picked up this cute Kate Spade notebook for work. When I work I always have to have a notebook on me. For some reason typing something never feels as gratifying to me as physically writing it down.
Questions of the Day: What are you loving this Friday? Do you have any fun weekend plans you’re looking forward to? Are you a fan of typing things out or writing things down?
Love the desk calendar! What a neat way to write down your to dos.
Have a great weekend!
I LOVE Vala’s Pumpkin Patch!! I haven’t been in forever since we moved to KC but it seriously is an amazing place!

That desk calendar is adorable! Happy Friday!
Love that calendar! I might have to get one for myself!
I went on my 1st pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and LOVED it! I used to work for URBN and Anthro was in that branch…it was heartbreaking to leave for the sole reason that I LOVE THEIR STORE and they hosted such great events. I have a problem with collecting pretty journals and haven’t written in almost half of them….maybe I should gift them to my friends 🙂 Have a great weekend!

I’m a huge fan of writing things down. I use an Erin Condren Life Planner and I’ve never been more happy with my planning system. I tried using google calendar for a while, as well as various iPhone calendar apps, but they never really felt effective enough.
It has been perfect pumpkin patch weather.
I am LOVING that desk calendar! I am such a sucker for cute calendars and notepads. Enjoy the weekend!
I love stationary but I don’t find myself using it as much right now! It doesn’t keep me from buying it though and the notebook you featured is beautiful!
I have that desk calendar and love it!
I love that notebook and that calendar.
Paper goods are my weakness.

I like your notebook and desk calendar. I’m also a fan of writing things down. I’ve used a daytimer regularly since junior high.
