I’m a big fan of workhorse dresses. Partly due to practicality, and partly due to cheapnesses, when shopping I look for dresses I can wear time and time again to a variety of events.
When I saw this dress at Target I knew I found a great workhorse dress. I’ve been wearing it to work, to dinners out with friends, grocery shopping on the weekend, and Junior League committee meetings. I love the fit and I love the stripes.
Oh yeah and the best part? It’s only $19.99!
Ashley Nicole and I shot this outfit immediately after I got out of work one day. Have I mentioned how much I love her photography? It’s night and day from the photos Josh and I used to shoot outside my house! haha
I work at a creative agency with a laid back dress code. I love that I can have fun when I get dressed for work and don’t have to wear button downs (you guys know how much I hate those) and dress slacks. Those look amazing on so many women but I don’t think they’re very flattering on my body type. Dresses are much more my style. I dressed this one with a long gold and black necklace that I looped around my neck a few times.

I’m realizing more and more how many stripes I have in my closet. I just love them. I rounded up some more of my favorite striped dresses from around the internet to share with you guys.
Questions of the Day: What is the dress code like at your office? Are you a fan of stripes? Do you enjoying wearing dress slacks?
