Friday after work we headed to Ralston for the Autum Festival. It's a yearly tradition for us to visit this craft fair together and we always look forward to it. Josh and I picked up the most gorgeous home sign for above our TV.
Saturday morning we went to our favorite breakfast place, Over Easy. We were surprised to discover that The Cooking Channel was filming an episode there. I can't wait to watch Cheap Eats this winter. We may even be visible in the background!
While I spent most of the time at breakfast watching the behind the scenes of making a TV show, I had to get a picture of my delicious food. We all split a pineapple poptart and cinammon roll.
For my meal I had to get the same thing I always do, the veggie biscuits and gravy. It's heavenly.
After breakfast I had to say goodbye to Josh and his parents to head over to Aksarben. I'm on Junior League's Big Red Block Party committee and Saturday night was the big event.
While the Husker's got crushed we had a blast raising money for charity.
And partying it up with all the yummy foods and good drinks.
Sunday Josh and I got ready for the upcoming week with typical errands like running to the grocery store.
We also looked at more houses! I absolutely fell in love with this one. It was everything I was looking for in a house.
Unfortunately as perfect as it was on the surface, there were lots of issues hiding in plain view. The granite countertops were splitting at the seams, mushrooms were growing under the bathroom floor, and the front steps in the yard were a crumbling, dangerous mess. We did not feel comfortable making an offer on a house with so many serious issues, so we're back to the drawing board!
