Friday started off with Josh and I roasting farm fresh veggies courtesy of Door to Door Organics. I'll be doing a whole separate post about the service but for now let me just say that getting organic veggies shipped right to your door is amazingly convenient.
Speaking of doors, how cool is this one I spotted while out on a walk around Old Market with Josh? I love the architecture of old buildings.
It was another Farmer's Market weekend for the Fairchild family. I love walking around and checking out all the fresh produce while listening to street performers. I had my heart set on a bouquet of peonies but they were out this week. I think we may have missed them for the season, unfortunately.
I can't believe it's been a year since the last Taste of Omaha! We made sure to head to the waterfront this weekend to check out the local food and listen to some great Omaha bands.
We attended a salsa and guacamole making class led by the owner of Maria Bonita. She knows how to make some incredible Mexican food.
It was a wonderful weekend. I can't wait to spend many more doing similar fun things this summer!

Questions of the Day: How did you spend your weekend? Is there a flavor that best describes your city? Would you enjoy getting fresh food delivered straight to your front door?
