Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was a whirlwind! It was the kind of weekend that was so much fun I wish I could do it all over again! Don't forget to link up to your weekend snapshots at the bottom of this post!
Saturday started off with a Junior League shift at Project Everlast helping wrap presents for teens aging out of the foster system. I loved learning about an organization that does so much for kids in the community. Thankfully I was on box taping duty and not present wrapping duty. I am horrible at wrapping gifts but I can tape boxes up like I'm on an assembly line.
There were wonderful cat snuggles while cuddled on the couch.
And shopping at the mall to take advantage of Christmas sales.
Sunday I hosted my friend Molly's baby shower at my apartment. Check out this beautiful diaper cake my friend Jordan made.
Along with these gorgeous bowtie utensil sets. They didn't get used so they will be making a reappearance at our Hanukkah party next week. ;)
Beautiful blue macarons for Molly's baby boy.
Along with bow tie straws.
And a pin the bow tie on the baby game.
There were some babies in attendance. Which made the don't say baby game even harder.
It was great to get to hang out and catch up with friends.
And best of all was getting to shower a friend we love so much with happiness and excitement. We can't wait to meet Baby B!
After a fun Sunday afternoon baby shower, I spent Sunday evening at Nebraska Furniture Mart for a #NFMHolidayTasting blogger event. Nebraska Furniture Mart is the place to go for furniture, appliances, electronics, and home decor in the area so I was really looking forward to attending this event. We're big NFM fans! :D
There was a chef answering our kitchen questions and preparing delicious foods for us to enjoy. Josh is now convinced we need a convection oven and induction cooktop.
This Hawaiian Banana Bread was unreal.
There were designers creating beautiful holiday tablescapes for us to ooh and ahh over. I wanted to take them all home.
Isn't this the sassiest little Santa? It was such a fun night. When I got home I promptly passed out and now here we are on Monday morning ready to start a new week! I hope you enjoy it!
