The QUEST for the Perfect Protein Bar (Giveaway)

The QUEST for the Perfect Protein Bar (Giveaway)
I have a special post for you guys today, involving a product I've been absolutely loving lately. When I really love a product I've been known to go a little crazy. When there is kettle corn in the room, watch out, my hand will be in that bag or bowl until it is empty. When there's an enthralling book in my hands (like today's amazing read- Divergent) I usually will not stop reading until I'm done with the book. Doesn't everyone make heart shapes with their favorite protein bars? If you haven't guessed by now I'm talking about Quest Bars. My love for Quest Bars runs deep. They've been a staple for on the go snacks as I drive to Josh's  or when I'm tiding myself over between meals at work. I love eating half of one after a Zumba class or for a late night snack while I'm catching up on some quality mindless but oh-so-addicting TV. (Bravo I'm looking at you.) Quest was so sweet to send me a sampler pack of their bars to review with you guys. I was so excited because I already loved the cookie dough flavor. It's the best protein bar I've ever tasted.  And as good as the taste is it's the content of the bars that really sell me. Protein bars usually don't have enough protein for the sugar they contain. As much as I love them I try to treat them as desserts more than a protein snack. With Quest Bars I can have my cake and eat it too. Their bars have around 20grams of protein and only 1 or 2 grams of sugar. They also contain around 70% of your dietary fiber and minimal carbs. The bars are sweetened with the use of sucralose and bulked up with protein through a whey protein blend. The end result is tasty, filling, and relatively guilt free! These bars are so incredibly delicious, and come in so many flavors! Ones I didn't think I would like, like peanut butter and jelly, ended up blowing my mind. Josh's favorite is the chocolate brownie. The only ones I didn't really enjoy as much were some of the ones that had sugar alcohols in them. The lemon bar had a taste that was too sweet/bitter for me. These bars are a little pricey (my GNC charges $2.50 a bar) but so so worth it if you're looking for a protein bar that actually delivers on getting you protein without loading you up on sugar. The ingredients list is very small and very clean. And for one lucky reader you'll be getting a sampler pack absolutely free! I'm giving away a sampler pack of Quest Bars.
